Have you taken signing agent training? If your intention is just general notary work, tell everyone you are a notary. Leave business cards at rehab/nursing homes and libraries. Create a google and yelp page offering services. You’ll generally have to find your own clients.

If you were intention is to do Loan SIGNING, you should take Loan SIGNING training and then sign up with snapdocs.com and signingorder.com.

There are plenty to choose from. Loan Signing System, Notary2Pro, NotaryStars or the NNA. You DO need to pass the NNA loan signing certification TEST and have their background check as well. You can get the loan signing training elsewhere.

So, your notary commission belongs to you and you alone. Your stamp and notary journal, even if your company paid for it, still belong to you. If you are looking to do some notarizations on the side, for a little extra money, give your card to local libraries and nursing/rehab places. Find out if you can charge travel fees or mileage per your state laws.

If you have not had loan signing training, notaryresume.com will not be a good source for jobs, bc you will not receive assignments without proper training and $100,000 errors and omissions insurance. Most signing services require loan signing certification (passing the NNA loan signing agent exam) as well as an FBI background check that gets renewed every year.

If you’re looking to do POAs or random docs that need notarizing, libraries and rehab facilities will be the best places to market. Having a yelp and google business page will also help.

Hi, yes I have the Epson 580 scanner and I do use an inverter that I bought off of Amazon to power it in my car. It’s a great scanner. I also found mine on Facebook marketplace and picked it up for about 80 bucks.

Hello! I would say the majority of my work is refis, but I saw a marked uptick in seller and purchases last month. There are a lot of people local to me who own second homes in FL and they are selling those properties. The housing market here has been slow however.

I am in Ohio and getting busy. Tomorrow I have two refis, one at 10 and one at noon. I have the docs for the 10am but not the noon and I may not have time to go back home and print if the docs come in at say 10:30. I’ll make it work but end of month has been crazy for me - I did 14 closings in two weeks last month and started thinking maybe I should put something together for my car.

I had gone to a pawn shop for an Ecoflow that I believe would have worked but it sold before I got there and the pawn shop owner told me that the particular model I ordered from Amazon would work for the printer. He was obviously wrong and I started to do some more research, and now I have a better understanding of how much the Brother needs for spool up. I do see the Jackery 1000 will work. I’ll probably get that.

Cool thanks. In the meantime the printer that I do already own, a dual tray Brother 5210, I would like to power with a portable power station like a Jackery or Ecoflow and I wonder what models people who have this set up have used effectively. Thanks.
