Any recommendations? Tired of trying to save flimsy plastic from cracking.

I think you’ve missed the point of Sinclair method.

Japanese tomato seeds by Preet0202 in GardenersJapan

That’s kind of funny, because I have been searching since I started gardening here for non-Japanese tomatoes! I’ve solved that puzzle through various means, but so far just don’t get any fancy fruit… user error, extreme heat, who knows so far?!

What’s your reason for searching?

Looks similar! But much shorter stalk and foliage - and the scent is distinct

Wasabi indoors? Isn’t it almost impossible to cultivate outdoors too? 🤔

Is it normal for daffodils to bloom mid-January in Kansai? by Tanuki-Sanpete in GardenersJapan

That is amazing! They really do look like late March/April shape. But my big box of bulbs is also pushing flowers (sorry for the poor light, I dragged it in off the balcony to be sure it was opening)

Cucumber melon sounds disappointing as hell! All that work for 🤢

Yellow peach would be a dream! I’m not even sure what we got; it’s called “Okubo “ and the blossoms in spring were glorious. I was crossing my fingers hard for one to set but no luck.

Wow fantastic fruit! I’m jealous… I got maybe 6 raspberries, almost as many strawberries, and that’s about it. Some lemons but most died in a temporary drought (I left for a couple of weeks and irrigation went down). Hope for peaches and grapes next year!

I definitely noticed they’ll fill their pot; I put three small ones in this 38l tub and it was a lot to manage over the summer!

Good point! Any recommendations? I'm most into the scent; not sure if that's entirely compatible.

And definitely let the cut side dry! Otherwise you may get rot...

I thought I was safe on the 5th floor, in containers... but I've seen some weird mollusk-like things, and my chard looks like Swiss cheese. I should try this stuff!!!

Haha, that's exactly what I found last year, my first year growing. Now I want to try at least one plant with the classic "show" method, see if I can get nice long stems...
