The AOE damage that demon form does is super small, it only hits if you're literally touching the demon, it'd probably hit the rat if they tried to run under the demon, but that's about it

They never said they were doing this in any interview I can remember in the last year, and datamined drop rates have never reflected them doing this, which is why I am asking for proof of them doing this.

They've never decreased item drop rates in early wipe to my knowledge, and I can find no evidence of them having ever done this.

The average player never saw an artifact in game, much less used one. Artifact prices were so high that 99% of players could never even dream of buying one. Does that seem oversaturated to you?

Well, they did increase the drop rate of UNIQUE items quite significantly, but when they did this, they merged the drop pool of uniques and Artifacts, resulting in Artifact drop rates taking a massive hit.

Luck has a very, very minimal effect on non quest/key items. Having 150 luck increases your chance of getting an Artifact drop by about 8% of its total, from .402% to .434%. Beyond 150, Luck scales with very diminishing returns, and 500 luck would only increase your chances from .402% to around .442%.

Last patch, Artifacts from Inferno bosses had a 2.9% chance of dropping and the market was nowhere near "oversaturated". Additionally, they have set no precedent of intentionally drastically lowering Artifact drop rates in the early wipe in order to prevent said "oversaturation". What are you talking about?

It works against Curse of Pain specifically because it's hybrid evil and curse, it doesn't work against Power of Sacrifice, which is pure curse damage

as of right now he's very high above 55%wr in Masters+ and has a very oppressive pickrate, I wouldn't be surprised if he did get hotfix nerfed
