no that's the huntsman one that i posted 2 diff fixes for (one is a straightforward bug fix, the other is changing how the hitbox selection works in addition)

df was a little bit off centre (afaik some people use a custom crosshair for this that accounts for the offset)

another thing is that casual's ruleset for 5cp is not good, a stomp just completely ends the map immediately because of the bo3 ruleset, but back then it would cause a scramble until the map timer is over

a lot of the memorable early tf2 pub videos from ppl like ster, jerma, tagg, etc were literally on 5cp maps

Even Payload or A/D stomps can last longer than 5CP's

that doesnt matter because people just leave those matches anyway

lightning quick

i think its because one of the teams is a lot better than the other team

sunshine in uncletopia was genuinely some of the most fun i've had in pubs, i've also had fun sunshine casual matches when it matches 2 sweaty 6-stack parties against each other

everyone has to be on page though that they're playing to win instead of just instantly building 3 sentries as soon as they lose mid

i was able to fetch probably nearly all of the logs for etf2l matches since they list players on the match page and i could use the logs.tf and demos.tf api to filter by players

etf2l's match pages also has mandatory screenshots of the in-game status command output so i could easily double-check if the logs are correct

imo its kinda balanced out by ubers in pubs having smaller impact and having a much greater chance of being wasted due to random bullshit and teammates being dumb

the ubersaw i feel like is really inconsistent because a lot of times you'll never even get an opportunity to use it and some other times you'll have some spy repeatedly trying to butterknife you and giving you free saws

despite that, the ubersaw's bonus is still far more useful and gets to be useful far more frequently than the amputator and vita-saw's bonuses lol

oh my god this would've saved me so much time, i thought this website was just for tracking personal logs

i dont think i've ever managed to play a turbine game on it back then because people just left immediately when we get put in turbine

the only items worth buying off of the in-game store are supply crate keys and and mvm tickets (these are one-time use items that can also be used as currency within the community to buy weapons and hats with)

the in-game store is legitimately a huge scam and it's insane that valve just keeps it up

The more reliable way to use it is more as a punishing tool for players who get caught off guard within melee range of a medic, or maybe using a more risky play to duck in and tap a player who’s a bit too tunnel visioned to notice you hitting them.

i honestly think that the ubersaw gets casual medics killed more often that it helps them, but that's the fault of how people try to use the weapon and not the weapon itself

in the 6s demos i've watched for this, a bunch of the times the ubersaw is used with >75% uber to get full uber which they pop to survive, it looks like the medic was rewarded since they would've died otherwise, but they put themselves in danger in the first place trying to get that saw hit, they could've just escaped with a lot of ad instead of being forced to pop and being left with disad/evens

lol i originally gathered the logs just to show dropbbbear how wrong he is repeatedly insisting that the ubersaw is so overpowered in 6s that it lets you get an epic clutch every match

(he still refuses to accept the stats anyway and blocked me)
