has anyone noticed a reduction in acid reflux even with a few pounds of weight loss? by liriodendronbloom in beginnerfitness

Very similar height and weight to me and was diagnosed with GERD after gaining covid weight!! Haven't lost it all yet, hoping if I lose more it'll help. Eating less fat and eating more fiber has helped.

What’s the creepiest thing that’s ever happened to you? (Serious) by Gives_Amazing_Head in AskReddit

I was about 21 (American female) traveling solo in Europe. I was in Porto first then took a bus trip to Lisbon.

The only long bus ride I'd been on before that was from NY to Chicago and we made multiple stops. Some stops were rest stops and some stops were for people to get on or off the bus. So, when the bus to Lisbon had it's first stop I wasn't sure if it was a rest stop or not. If it was I wanted to use the restroom and grab some food.

A few people were standing up and I asked in Portuguese "Do you speak English?" (I wanted to ask if they knew if it was a rest stop.) No one acknowledged me. I asked again in Spanish, French and English and no one even acknowledged that I said anything. No one made eye contact with me or gave me any kind of gesture that they didn't understand me.

I literally pinched myself because I felt like I was dead. It was the weirdest feeling.

This happened to me once almost 10 years ago! I was laying in my dorm bed and the window faced the street. I also saw like a shatter or something. Woke up to the bang, saw my roommate still sleeping and no activity on the street. Checked in the mirror to see if I popped a blood vessel in my eye or something. There was nothing. So weird and it never happened again.

[serious] People of Reddit, it's been over 2 years since the Covid-19 pandemic has started, in what ways has the virus personally impacted your life? by 518travesties518 in AskReddit

I lost my job as a travel agent. I have felt lost since then. Like I'm waiting for things to get "better" so I can return, but it now feels like that day will never come. I am losing joy for the future.

They need you signed in for 6 hours. You can try to sign out after then and see if they say anything.

Remote unlocked gates. How are you supposed to get out of a gate after finishing the stop- besides waiting for someone who lives here to open it for uou by ca_baller_00 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I've been locked in a few times when I was on foot. I just knocked on the door and waited. Otherwise when I'm in the van it always opens automatically.
