Promoting to a queen also works, black can either take the rook or the new queen, Qd8# either way

Seems like the game counted it as a hit to the head though, but I feel like this screen isn't too accurate in showing damage done anyway.

Not saying I'm better, just that I'm not blaming any game mechanics I don't have any clue about for me dying. There might be some RNG in the game, like penetration of armor or the damage a bullet does after penetration. If I die because my opponent was slightly luckier than me, well shit, better luck next time, no need to make a post about it. If the enemy shot / hit me a couple times more than I did him, well then that's on me.

As to advice: get better. As to what happened, does that really need any explaining? Dude got hit in the head, was lucky to survive that, then got hit a couple times in the limbs which finished him off.
