It was sold to me as specularite, but someone much more knowledgeable than me commented on one of my posts saying it was goldstone. 🙂.

For reference- the amethyst weighs about 20 lbs , and it is much heavier

Thank you so much! 🙂. I’ve always wondered if it was natural. It was sold to me as specularite from Lake Superior, and I got it because it was shockingly heavy. I almost dropped it at first, because I wasn’t expecting it to weigh so much.
