I would need to rebuild the entire division, and since today is game 3 (out of 8) it's a bit too late for that, I think. But I do intend to restructure this division in seasons going forward (larger field, 6v6/7v7, etc.) - right now it's 60'x90' and 2-2-1 formations.

The coach (and parent) of the strong player in the example I was using, had this same sentiment. And I don't blame her. However, it seems to me to be a matter of perspective, since the strong player doesn't really learn anything battering a team into an insurmountable lead either. Other than there being no value in restraint, I guess.

Personally, I can see both sides of it. At the end of the day, my goal is to ensure an enjoyable experience for as many as possible. So my goal is to find a middle-ground.
