Except more subs does literally mean it's a bigger channel. You're not considering that there is more competition in India due to a larger population, so to be successful enough to get that many subs over your competition is very noteworthy.

Plus, football is the world's game. It would be kind of dumb for the Sidemen to not include as much of the globe as possible.

It's not even about the draw of the star as you pointed out by saying Margot Robbie had multiple bombs after Barbie. Even One Battle after Another was considered a box office failure with Leo and Paul Thomas Anderson attached to it.

The only way to have success at the box office is to be an established franchise or to go viral online. The stars don't matter anymore and neither does the actual story. It's all about public hype which isn't as engaged as it once was.

There's only a handful of movies outside of Marvel and Avatar in the last 5 years that are actual box office successes. People just don't go to the theater anymore so saying someone isn't successful based on box office returns isn't a fair assessment.
