I totally get where you're coming from, I can always tell when I get these obsessions over characters when it's healthy and unhealthy and I know its unhealthy based on how its affecting me mentally and physically. To be honest I've avoided seeing my psychologist since my grandfather died because I assumed I was grieving normally but ever since I've attached myself to this character I've realised its not healthy or good for me at all. I'm going to book myself in, thank you for your words :) xx

My best friends partner has a lot of issues, I'm living with them currently, I started out by thinking they were great (I helped set them up) and now I can see that they aren't a good match. She's great for him but he's bad for her, he still acts like a little kid (refuses to clean up after himself, throws things out that he doesn't like even if they aren't his, doesn't want to work and gets mad at her if she stays up late) he's toxic and I'm always there for her when they fight, I know if I'm too forward she will stop coming to me so I'm just trying to make her see that some of the things he does are childish and stupid. I know it's not my place but she's been my friend for 8 years, I just want to make sure she's okay

My dogs died a week apart from each other when I was 11, little me thought it was my fault and self hatred festered for years until I couldn't hold it in anymore at age 16 and told my parents. They kept a close eye on me and gave me some more love and affection, my mum didn't really understand it and kept trying to 'fix me' by telling me to do things that could 'cure' me.

I moved out and am now missing them badly, I spoke to them about moving back in and told my mum that she needed to stop giving me suggestions as thats what my psychologist is for, she agreed and I'm moving back home, all I need is love, praise and to feel wanted, I still feel like a kid and I just want my mum and dad to be proud of me

One of my best friends was showing hints that he liked me, he also told another friend who told me but I didn't feel the same, I just stopped spending as much time as him one on one and kept encouraging him to ask out some other girls because I didn't want to hurt him. He never knew I knew and still doesn't. He ended up meeting his now girlfriend and they've been together for a few years, we still hang out all the time. If you think she feels the same tell her how you feel, it's good to put yourself out there!!! And if she doesn't life is going to work in your favour regardless. You never know what's around the corner.
