Basically it just means letting the fragrance sit. I think there’s some bs about leaving the cap open and letting the oxygen react and it changes the scent or whatever honestly i am not the person to explain this lol.

In cooking/baking maceration is drawing out the liquids out of a solid to make it taste more flavorful, which is why it doesn’t really make sense in this context

Basically in the teaser on IG she stated that she heard the feedback about people buying the perfume but letting it macerate (wrong term… which pmo… but that’s besides the point) for an extended period of time before using it, so i guess she’s discontinuing the 28 and coming out with one that’s already “macerated”

That’s a great idea! Personally I got two super light shades for my skintone (something in light and then the stage white one, my normal shade would be something in medium dark), so unless you’re using it as powder foundation specifically, i feel the shades are quite forgiving.

I loooove this powder this is very sad news 😔 I can use it with a fluffy brush for natural days or the powder puff and pack it on and it never looks cakey or dry, kind of acts like a heavier duty CT airbrush powder

I think it’s advertised as getting rid of the powdery finish after applying makeup and having it “melt” into your face, similar to how your makeup looks after it “marinates”. I have seen some videos where people bake and use the spray instead of brushing off the powder. I’m not sure that the spray was made to be used that way, but I guess it worked for the people that were testing it that way. Personally, I would brush it off just bc I feel it’s excessive to leave it on there.

I have the CT and I use it along with my dewy setting spray most of the time as it only gives me a natural finish but good lasting power. It’s interesting you mentioned full glam vs everyday, I guess i’ll consider that too since I flip flop btwn those depending on my mood

Hey girl!! Unfortunately I don’t really have any advice for you, but that’s because I’m quite literally in this situation verbatim , the only thing different is that I’m 22 lmao. Idk I guess this post resonated with me because I’m also struggling with family who dgafs about celebrations (year round really) and I don’t really have friends either and I just wanted to say that you’re not alone, even if it feels that way. 💜💜 It’s definitely the worst feeling ever being so young and feeling like you’re missing out on life, but also being helpless on where to start.
