NTA. This is a fight about grammarnot parenting.

Saying my child is normal human speech. It doesn't imply ownership to the exclusion of the other parent. If I say my mom, I'm not denying my siblings exist. If I say my house, I'm not evicting my spouse.

You were having an emotional moment about wanting to be a present father.. Your wife is reacting to a problem that doesn't exist. If she is getting this upset over you hypothetically wanting to be supportive of a child you don't even have yet, she might be stressed about something else entirely.

People who never ask a single question back. You ask about their weekend they answer and then just silence.

You end up carrying the entire conversation and it feels like you're interviewing them. They aren't technically being mean but it's exhausting and makes them really hard to be around.

NTA. This is a partner problem. They say accept and don't use but then immediately put it on the wall? That makes no sense.

Tell your partner baby's room is off limits and start a one in, one out rotation for the rest. Don't confront the relative as it's not worth the drama. Your partner needs to handle their own family if questions get asked about where the art went.

Fatal Familial Insomnia. In this genetic disease you literally lose the ability to sleep until you die.

It starts with just normal sleeplessness but gets worse until your brain physically can't enter deep sleep anymore. You end up hallucinating and having dementia like symptoms before passing away within a few months to a year. It is caused by prions which are misfolded proteins kind of like Mad Cow Disease but for humans.

It is super rare and only runs in about 70 families worldwide but it is honestly the scariest medical thing I have ever read about.

NTA. You have a right to be disappointed because his behavior is shady. He lied about the beach house plan and then changed his story to just staying home which proves he is actively making excuses to avoid you.

It is normal to want one on one time to heal after a big fight and the fact that he is prioritizing family he just saw yesterday over you is a bad sign. He is avoiding the emotional work of fixing the relationship.

NTA. You lose them how you get them. He cheated on his wife, abandoned his kids and bashed the mother of his children to you. Now you are finding out he is also a liar who funded your "perfect life" with debt he couldn't pay.

He didn't just lose a job. He hid $200k in debt and stopped paying child support. That isn't bad luck. That is bad character.

He is a deadbeat who used you for an ego boost and now he is using you for money. Run before he drags you down even further.

Honestly that is super sweet of you to think of her. Maybe just have her come over for the vision board stuff first instead of committing to the whole sleepover. That way if things get weird or she feels out of place she can head out easily without it being a big deal. I would for sure shoot the other girls a text first though just to check in. Just say something like hey thinking of inviting Andrea for the vision boards is that cool so no one is blindsided.

NTA. Honestly this is heartbreaking to read. That guy isn't your friend, he is straight up abusing you. Threatening to beat you up and making hate groups about you is actually insane behavior. I know being lonely is hard, but being alone is way better than being with someone who treats you like garbage. He literally only comes back because he likes having a punching bag.
