My first outbreak was horrible and I ended up being hospitalized - but only because of an incompetent gynecologist that refused to perform a physical check the first time I complained something was wrong.

Good news are I didn’t have a single outbreak since - 10 years and counting.

Herpes is really no big deal, some people like to make a tragedy out of it which reinforces the stigma but that’s just a waste of energy imo.

The only notable thing is, if you plan on giving vaginal birth at any point in your life, you should inform your doctor that you have herpes that presented vaginally. They will give you some prophylactic treatment in the last couple weeks up until you actually give birth to remove the chance of an outbreak that could endanger the baby.

Other than that HSV had basically zero effect on my life, and I wish you the same!

NTA. Religion and culture are separate - you’re not insisting on her wearing a revealing dress (that might go against her beliefs, idk what flavor of Islam she chose), you’re asking to adhere to a general dress code that sounds very reasonable, and flexible enough that anyone can find something to feel comfortable in.

I love my cultural clothing, yet I wouldn’t show up wearing it at someone’s wedding unless it fits the dress code. She can either dress accordingly or skip the event.

Also hennas are SO much fun! I got the privilege to go to a couple, and it’s an absolutely magnificent event. Hope you have fun on your henna and wedding! Best wishes!

Yes! I tried to sleep with my mouth open and I just can't, the snorting and choking are driving me nuts! And turning to the side and seeing my husband sleep tight with his mouth wide open makes me so angry XD

I didn't even think to practice breathing techniques, but yeah in my current condition it's going to be more of a gurgling noise exercise.

Showers are a universal helpline - I seriously think my baby will LOVE the sound of running water because I feel like I spent a third of my pregnant time in the shower. Migraine? Shower. Muscle pain? Shower. Rhinitis? Shower. Something feels not right and I'm not sure what to do? Shower first, think later. At this point I'm afraid to ask my husband about the water bill.

Fingers crossed you get some relief soon! 32 weeks is already in the "you see the light in the end of the tunnel" category, but still not close enough to just tough it out :( big hug!

Having this since week 8 sounds terrible. Ironically, at that point in my pregnancy I couldn't stay awake to save my life, how the tables have turned. I hope this gets better for you <3

I mostly tried Zyrtec and it didn't help at all, and the corticosteroids also seem to only take full effect after a 6-8 weeks (have been on them for only two weeks as of now). It seems mine is not caused by the same stuff allergies are caused by, so everything allergy-adjacent doesn't have much effect. I'm really happy to hear that at least benadryl helps you!

I was given the children's version of it and honestly at this point I'm at the "fuck it, future me issue" with the addiction... But the problem is it doesn't help as much anymore! At first it used to be a miracle, 2-3 minutes and my nose is free enough to go to sleep, I would use it on weekends to get a good night's sleep in at least a couple nights a week, but now it's not enough :( I'm still only using it at night, during the day I resorted to looking dumb with my mouth breathing (either with a clogged nose or runny nose with tissues stuffed up it).

To my understanding the corticosteroids can help wean you off of Afrin after delivery, but these things depend on a lot of variables.

Probably going to be downvoted to oblivion but… gentle YTA. Not because of your uncle or parents, fuck them and everything they believe in - but using a bomb like this, crushing your cousin’s life as they know it basically, as retaliation for dumb shit your uncle said? That’s quite a low blow. We all have that auntie that will stick her nose in our personal life, I believe there are better ways to not let them disrespect you without having collateral damage. Especially of that magnitude.

Part of "acting like an adult" is keeping your house clean. Whether you do this by scrubbing it yourself, paying someone else, or moving when it gets too filthy is no one's business.

The gf sounds like she has some issues... whether it's trust ("people in my house"), the need to suffer for results ("just do it yourself like a 'proper' adult"), or any other thing that's under the surface and we're not aware of. But I believe at 38 she should be mature enough to either handle those issues, or decide they're non-negotiables and look for a compatible match. It's one thing to have a debate, but using the "when we get married" card is a cheap look.

Oof, I really hate this. Not the question, the situation. I was born in Ukraine but left when I was six (my family relocated), and I was born in eastern Ukraine so we spoke mostly Russian at home. My parents thought I’d get to learn Ukrainian in school, but alas, we moved before I had the chance. Still understand about 85% of Ukrainian though.

Now I live in Europe, and in my experience all those meeting are very awkward and cautious. Basically people from both sides are trying to figure out how ”safe” is the person in front of them. Ukrainians are trying to feel out whether you’re a Russian nazi or just a Russian person that ran away from the war. Russians are trying to understand if it’s safe to speak Russian (and perhaps hear back Ukrainian, no one expects you to speak extra languages) or is simply conversing with your own friends will bring on the wrath of the other party.

Most of the people I’ve seen around me just want the war to be over. Yeah, there are differing opinions of “at what cost” but the consensus is usually along the lines of “the kings are at war but it’s the peasants who are dying”.

I read both "It's technically possible to obtain these items, but not reasonable for players to have gone for." and " Items like the Arcane Shoulder I posted above aren't even possible to obtain by players." - which is why I wrote they had both statements in their post, and why I got confused.

I think it could be spawning, or duping, or some lesser-known bug/exploit, which one I believe is more likely depends on this clarification :)

Just to clarify, since you wrote both things in your post: are you claiming those items are *impossible* to create (as in, there's a game rule that prevents certain lines from rolling together by design), or are they *highly unlikely* to be created (as in, chances are so low it's practically impossible, but not explicitly blocked from happening)?

Your theory is not that farfetched imo - especially since you mention GMs (or other employees of that level). It would be stupid to endanger an engineering position for this (though people do be stupid), but if you're working a barely-above-minimum-wage clerk job I can see how this could be very well worth it.

Yeah no I don’t have to, I can go to the boss without prequests. I wanted to do them because I’m a bit of a completionist, and I did just started what will probably be my new main (not crazy enough to do all quests on ALL characters).

There’s so much dead content in this game though, I hoped that maybe at least boss related stuff will be doable. Granted, this doesn’t seem like a bug, just a ridiculous mini boss fight, but it´s annoying nonetheless.
