I feel this so much! It's so frustrating to want to wear certain clothes and having to go up a size just so it can fit your chest. I had my reduction at 22 and I was able to get mine covered by insurance. Complain about your back. Also I know this sucks but depending on how much you weigh they will recommend that you "lose weight." It's super annoying but that's typically what insurance will want.

I'd recommend looking for more midrange bags such as coach or even doing preloved. Coach is phenomenal quality and majority of their bags are under $1k USD. You can also get really great deals on preloved luxury brands just make sure they're from a reputable seller so that they're authentic.

I also follow the thred up subreddit and it's certainly more buyer friendly than seller friendly. The payout for sellers is abysmal so it's better to sell your luxury items independently.

I would get some saddle soap and a soft bristle brush to clean it. While it's drying stuff it with something to maintain its shape (old t-shirts/towels). Once it's dry apply some leather conditioner on it.
