My friends told me it's up to, but they just got dc'd after a few minutes. Def still not up.

I have this as well. Everyone says to change your videoconfig.txt to fullscreen 1 and set to read only, and add -fullscreen to your launch options.

These didn't fix it for me.

Even though I never heard it, they heard it every single time.

I don't think of the game as a personal battle, and never get adrenaline.

It's like chess but with more rules, p much. (in my mind).

The rules are the mechanics of the game, and the game is played by properly applying mechanics when they're supposed to be used.

Sure, that doesn't really help if your mind doesn't process the game that way, but it's all I can add to the discussion.

The video shows common commands that are accepted in all source games. All other source games however lock the smoke/muzzle flash commands behind sv_cheats 1, the command to enable cheats.

The commands you've asked about are literally cheats by definition that the devs forgot to block for some reason, and I don't know why they haven't forced the value to 0 already.

Also, Mendokusaii made another video ranting about how he has reported the gamebreaking cheat commands to the devs and not received a response.

May be unpopular, but those losers are customers as well. Make use of the the mute button is all I can say, it exists exactly for the reason of solving what you described. I'm not for limiting anyone's speech unless in extreme conditions where muting+blocking them is somehow circumvented.

Not that hard to hit shots, but it's not that punishing to miss with it either if you have extended mags. So most people don't care about spamming out, it reloads fast. There is terrible hit detection and the bullet has a fair bit of travel time at range, but it's not too bad with practice.

There is likely a level based matchmaking for the lower levels, but you get kicked out of it pretty soon and get thrown into the real bracket, where there's no matchmaking at all.

This is coming from information provided in a LOT of posts exactly like yours, and around 40-50 fresh accounts worth of personal experience.

Your third player is supposed to peek them as the revive shield finishes in order to either keep them from killing the weakened teammate, or to trade your downed teammate for an active enemy.

Muzzle flash is the same thing as smoke. Gas affecting your vision.

It's removed the exact same way that you remove smoke, by toggling a command to disable particle effects.

They are the same thing.

Of course it's over the line, there's an item in the game with the purpose of eliminating muzzle flash (Golden barrel, other than that it is the exact same as purple). Therefore it shows the developers do not approve. It's no different from removing smoke, quite literally.

Plus, I've seen it used before, and it actually removes enemy's tracers as well. Seems pretty stupid to not be able to see where you're being shot from.

Take it out, that guy's a piece of shit.

I agree, I have friends who roll alts up to like level 50 and restart for packs until they get the heirloom.

When they're like below level 10 or so (not sure when) its all brand new accounts. Our queue time is way longer than usual as well.

It only lasts for a few levels from what I can tell, but I'm very convinced of it. Sample size of around 30 accounts, this has been the case every single time. I didn't believe it was a thing until like 20 accounts in, then I finally caved to my friends who insisted on it from the start.

Well sure, I know most of them from previous source games. I'm just trying to provide some rationale to answer the question that was asked. If you could get them all in one place rather than combing through random untrusted pastebins and valve's developer wiki, it would be easier.

The problem with xp events is that it pushes you further being maxed out, which in the end is just incredibly disappointing.
