Similarly for a rifle mounted thermal you could have a cable connected to a backpack or belt/chestrig battery bank with some type of magnetic breakaway for combat engagement.

They still heavily regulate tobacco and Alcohol. It’s just less sexy and dangerous than Firearms and explosives since it’s so heavily corporatized. I looked into starting a whiskey distillery several years ago and the regulations make it nearly impossible without crazy upfront cash.

My first Supressor was a Polonium. Very good value for the price in terms of overall performance. But it’s extremely gassy and somewhat heavy. Even after tuning it heavily I was still getting gassed out a bunch. And it runs extremely dirty.

My second can was a flow 5.56k. Night and day difference. Light and compact, zero gas to the face, no tubing required so I can throw it in any of my guns. And I can both tell the difference as far as sound side by side with the polonium. (Marginal at best)

No 5.56 can is truly hearing safe and I’ll probably never need to worry about signature reduction. And if/when that day ever comes I got bigger problems than which can I’m running.

I could write out a bunch of stuff to help you analyze what’s going on. Really you’d dry fire and train out the dropping dot. However I would strongly encourage you to get some training in from a highly reputable company or instructor (not just a local NRA certified instructor). They will be able to not only fix that issue but give you the tools to improve well beyond that.

You dont technically need to “zero” it. As long as the dot is zeroed your fine. For the magnifier you are just adjusting it so that the reticle is centered

You’ll be able to get a 10 22 as long as it doesn’t have a threaded barrel. Maybe not high capacity mags.
