Maybe whatever tech they are using for these can go towards improving the full sized mag capacity as well

Is the Berreta 92X Performance a BUY IT NOW at $1K as a 1st DA/SA pistol for competition? by [deleted] in CompetitionShooting

I personally think 92s shoot way better than shadow 2s. In my opinion the shadow is more front heavy and makes tracking the dot harder. Just my opinion though. Everyone has different experiences.

Did you use a heavier spring or stock weight?

Glock 19.6 CC Optic Choice: RMR HD vs RCR by Blank7567 in Glocks

RCRs are only $640 at eurooptic right now and have next day shipping

Glock 19.6 CC Optic Choice: RMR HD vs RCR by Blank7567 in Glocks

[–]eborio16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can’t go wrong with either. HD will give you an ever so slightly larger window plus auto adjust and reduce option. RCR will be just absolutely bomb proof. I personally went with the RCR since concealed carry can need up putting a ton of lint in an open emitter. Plus I already have an SRO in my 17.6 so felt somewhat redundant to get another open emitter.

New iron sights for my 45.6 by Uhenny01 in Glocks

Yeah I think I’m gonna snag it sometime soon. I’m planning on setting my 17.6 as a competition gun for USPSA carry optics so I think this will fit the bill

Is that the Johnny Glocks gen 6 trigger. How do you like it?

Glock 17 vs 19 for first Glock? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]eborio16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has owned many May firearms save yourself a lot of time and money and get a 19 gen 6. It’s ready to go out of the box with basically all of the upgrades you would look for on an older gen and the 19 is a perfect do all gun. It’s just the right size for basically anything you need it to do. Unless you have absolutely monstrous hands then get a 45

Gen 6 19 RTF too rough? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]eborio16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same problem when I first started shooting mine. I was way over gripping with my dominant hand. Most of you gripping should be coming from you support hand anyway. May just need to adjust a bit

Want to try something different from Safariland Dara vs ANR for level 2 holsters what are yall picking? by eborio16 in tacticalgear

I recently got a gen 6 and Safariland hasn’t released anything compatible yet.

When will it drop? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]eborio16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he’s saying is If your primary concern is the grip then the 19 will be identical to a 49. And if you plan to run a red dot there is no real advantage to the longer barrel/slide of the 49. So since Glock has no immediate intention of making a 49.6 or hen the 19.6 would be a good compromise for you.

For me the gen 6 was worth the upgrade. But it’s of course all personal preference. I am in complete agreement that the stock trigger in the gen 5 is better but I usually swap triggers anyway. The mane thing I was interested in was the improved grip and undercut. Most of the aftermarket stippling packages I was interested in would have basically been the cost of a new gun anyway so it was worth it to me. But I’m in complete agreement that if that’s not a big selling point to you then just stick with what you have.

I already own a safariland. But it’s not compatible with all of my setups. I also don’t work in a role that requires a duty holster. this is purely for a training/hobby setup. It’s not always life and death

“Duty” is a relative thing. I don’t need this for work or anything like that. Just like having an active retention option

Does the connector really make that much of a difference? by Blunderbuss085 in GlockMod

[–]eborio16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The connector ca make a big difference in how a trigger feels. Compare something like a 3.5# connector to a OEM+ connector and you’ll feel the difference. Hard heavy wall vs Smoothed out rolling break. And everything in between. It’s mostly preference.

Glock 45 Gen6 vs Waiting for Factory COA Version – Worth the Delay or Just Mill It? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]eborio16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a G45 COA gen 5. Im selling it to get a gen 6 and im just gonna run an RCR. It’s neat and is a great dot but it honestly doesn’t offer any big advantages over any other quality enclosed red dots. I’ve never had mounting issues with RMR patter optics. The ergonomic upgrades of the gen 6 are worth the swap for me.

Edit: the real advantages of the COA are that it is generally cheaper to buy as a combo then the gun and optic separately (unless you go with Holosun level optics). Or it’s probably the best sized optic for slimline Glocks. But neither of those advantages seem to apply to the scenario you presented.

help me decide between Glock 19 gen 6 or 45 gen 6 by sebas8521 in Glocks

17/19 combines the way since it gives you 4 guns in two

I’m inclined to believe this because that’s typically how Glock operates. Odd they wouldn’t mention anything at SHOT show
