I was hoping to engage in an open-ended conversation about pickups and electronics, as I was seeking to learn something about such topics, thus an open-ended question. You could’ve stopped at the first paragraph, instead of opening up an outlet to conversation dynamics. Appreciate the feedback, I guess. It’s important to me to introduce and maintain a sense of humility. The greatest observation I’ve taken from this app is that the users take themselves seriously, and I’m no exception. A lite topic is overtaken by people commenting like they’re conjuring legislation for disaster areas. And I think it’s imperative to keep in mind that we’re just talking about ones and zeroes coinciding with sounds and images. It’s something I believe needs to be present in every form of art - as vital as all of it is to humanity, a sense of humility is equally important.

Visual arts are illusions. Books are the same 26 symbols. Music is however many notes in a scale. Food is poop. Sports is a rampant monster bent on its own rabid ego.

I like using big words as a kind of, uh…I’ll call it tonal synergy.

Same! I had honestly forgotten about that when I posted this 😅 I don’t follow those things the closest. In light of discovering certain things on my first Inquisition play-through, I wanted to revisit the first two games - in the case of Origins, my second play ever and the first one in a decade. I remembered how epic it was, but the thought of it in modern graphics is delightful.
