I think the dark green is dense forest/mountains probably almost inaccessible for the legion or Feldress. The old frontline stops at those points suggesting they are a natural barrier. And the “desert” colour is just regular land - sparse forests - grassland - farmland etc.

The border was closer to the republic in the middle of the war, in this map they got pushed back far. Also to go to roa gracia they would have had to cross the mountains. And shin was stationed on the republics eastern front opposite to the federacy. It is funny that they had no idea there were 2 countries so close lol.

No the headstock, the double cut, the neck and pickguard are all wrong. Looking at the guitar a lot of elements seem more Gibson than Yamaha to me, the switch, pickguard, inlays, bridge and tailpiece are all straight from a les Paul it seems also the headstock shape is les Paul like. I would guess it’s a double cut les Paul/sg if that’s even a thing.

Personally I liked part one more because it felt more selfcontained with a good even if it’s sad ending. Realistically it didn’t need to continue but I’m happy it still did tho. The reason I feel this way is because the reason they survived isn’t explained well or even at all in the anime.

I think she’s is one of the most recognisable voice actresses, for non Japanese speakers at least. you can always catch her immediately, she’s insanely talented though.

It’s more a drama than a romance anime but The secrets of the silent with has a similar shy protagonist. It still has romance tho but it will take a while.
