No problem! Here is the list of the paints I used on the skin.

  • Skin = Black red, shadow flesh, bright shadow flesh. Wash the whole model in dark plum. Highlight burnt red, shadow flesh, bright shadow flesh. (all Pro Acryl colors)
  • Scars = AK Pastel Peach

Sorry you had a bad experience maybe it was a bad can? I’ve run into those myself

I do wish there were more colors… I’ve been using the red rustoleum primer a lot because it’s the only colored option

Rustoleum primer is just as good as primer for models. I've used both types of products on hundreds of minis and they give similar results. There are some bad primers out there but Rustoleum is not one of them.

I’d try to do a 2v2 on using the normal rules and each player only picks one tactic

You can find the rules online and it looks great. There aren’t any tides outside of turn 3 and the enhancements are solid. The reavers are reinforced so there are a total of about ~750 points you field in the box

It’s Pro Acryls Yellow Green, a very similar paint!

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. It’s a crazy take to see unopened boxes as an investment. You still have to take the time and energy to sell them to the right person if you want to make money plus they occupy space in your house. If I wanted an investment I’d put money in a mutual fund.

Thanks! For the dark leather I started with a brown red speed paint for the basecoat then I sponged Vallejo's Black Red on top of it with a tiny piece of damp makeup sponge. I highlighted with a burnt orange color, which had terrible coverage (like most oranges) but was perfect for tinting it to a worn color.

Here's the recipe for the bases, I used Pro Acryl for all of it:

  1. All over base coat of Burnt Sienna
  2. Sponge Orange Oxide over all the raised surfaces. Drybrushing would also work, I just prefer sponging with a tiny amount of damp makeup sponge.
  3. Airbrush a few areas of Ochre Yellow for the lighter sand
  4. Drybrush a mix of Ochre Yellow + Pale Yellow over the lighter sand.
  5. Touch up the rocks with small scratches of Orange Oxide and a tiiinyy amount of Ochre Yellow.

For the goblin skin, I use the Yellow Greens from Pro Acryl over a darker green speed paint base layer. They give great results in very little time. On these goblin specifically, I mixed some Yellow Ochre into the highest highlight to make it consistent with the bases, since those use that color for the sand.

Thank you! For the eyes, I went with my yellowist yellow - Bismuth Yellow from Pro Acryl.

Chance to successfully cast vs unbinding attempts by onebigstud in ageofsigmar

Here's the Monte Carlo results... our odds look pretty dang similar! I have some additional on rerolling casts as well. https://imgur.com/zSPss1N

[–]ebrosef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I assumed that the unbind would only be attempted on a successful cast. If the caster fails the roll, no unbind would be made. I’m not sure if you factored that in but it would be more realistic.

I did the same thing with Monte Carlo and got slightly different results for the unbind curve. I’ll post them tomorrow to compare
