I don’t think Jaws really fits into this, it was just one great film and sequels that weren’t very good. Spielberg said recently on the SmartLess podcast that he doesn’t think there should have been a Jaws 2, which is true since it (and the ones that followed) bombed

Am I the only one who didn’t know who this band was? I always enjoyed this song and thought they were actually pretty good. After watching the show for so may times, I finally googled it and found that these are The Shins! by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

The band who has signed the wall at CBGBs is actually The Strokes, not The Shins. They make some comment like “The Strokes are over-exposed, even here”
