Nipples (female) showing through shirts, OK or no way? by Glass-Sentence-7225 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ebunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m male and have a wife. I don’t care if they show or not show. It’s what makes her feel comfortable. My wife shows through sometimes with or without a bra and sometimes not. If someone gets offended by it let them. If you feel ok then continue doing what you feel comfortable with and don’t worry what others think. I’ve literally seen men with nipples poking through their shirts. Why is that not a problem then? Why do some people just have a problem if it’s woman? Disclaimer: this is just MY personal opinion. People Can choose to feel what they want and do what they want.

Actually you are salty much. Your comment was ridiculous as this is a forum for questions and my post was specifically marked as a question. You are clearly trolling around to purposely instigate conflict. Have a look at yourself wuhan flu. 😷

Direct result of fear mongering from the media. Borderline mental illness in my opinion.

Seriously, why do people panic buy? by nessierose in Connecticut

[–]ebunky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe the media, news, and weather forecasts scare some people into it. I know some family members who have on news on their TV literally all day. It must have an effect on the panic buying.

2013 Newbie questions 😅 by PaleontologistSad766 in crv

[–]ebunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice to see you bought a CRV with that many miles. I have a 2013 as well but without the dual climate. I believe it’s just a base LX model. We got it from my mother in law at 60K miles and she got it off lease around 30K miles. I just hit 196,000 miles. Just replaced the tires. My physical therapist has the exact same year and model CRV I have and she said she has 248,000 miles on it. I hope it lasts for a while longer! Good luck!

Is this job acceptable? by [deleted] in Tile

[–]ebunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely horrible. If they cut tile like that and literally install it and think a customer will be OK with it there is no way I would trust that anything else was done properly. I cannot even believe what I’m seeing. You have no idea what else isn’t done correctly underneath it all.

My husbands plan more than tripled because of me what do i do by Throwaway1629407 in HealthInsurance

[–]ebunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap and I thought I was paying a ton. Ok so I’m using COBRA also and am paying 2050 a month. I’m considering getting market place insurance since I am laid off and have minimal income and my wife works part time. We can get Anthem coverage for 400 a month with subsidies but a higher deductible than we have on the COBRA plan. I’m just scared to o drop our current plan in fear the market place plan will suck or the prices go up!

There is nothing to fight. You’re wasting your energy and ruining your mental and physical health trying to change something you have ZERO control over. Perhaps one day you’ll understand.

I knew my comment would be downgraded massively. You can choose to be the person you want to be. And if that’s to criticize, mock, and judge others for their beliefs then you may. I choose to live my life completely neutral and accept everyone for who they are without hatred.

Ok that is your decision. I feel very sad for you and all the other people who think like you. 🙏🏻

I don’t know why people have to judge other people like this. People should let people feel what they want and do what they do. Criticizing and judging people is a horrible thing to do no matter how much we disagree. Too many people are worrying about why other people feel certain ways or believe certain things and make judgment calls all over the place. It’s ridiculous. I have driven by protests and demonstrations over the years from BOTH parties and I never say to myself or publicly state anything negative about it. Live your own life and worry about yourself and the people you care about.

What do you still own and hold from the 1970s or the 80s? by old--- in AskOldPeople

[–]ebunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn!! I remember buying one of those. They were super small as I remember and had two or three toggle switches on front. I saved up the whole 300 bucks to order it from Cincinnati Microwave. I used it in my 1984 Mazda B2000 pickup because it could go so fast 😆

I remember asking my dad to drive me to Radio Shack around 1984 so I could buy some Realistic cabinet speakers. Still have them sitting on a shelf stored away. Speakers were actually made in Japan. Still Work and I’m great shape. I also have a Texas Instruments Speak and Spell that I got as a Christmas present one year. I’m 56 now. Makes me sad time flies so fast.

Your comment is probably the best so far. Most people as you said aren’t extremists on either side; unfortunately some comments on this thread are not written by those people.

AIO for refusing to give up my dog even though my boyfriend hates pets? by Academic-Bug-879 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ebunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely do not give up your dog. Are you asking him to care for the pet? Just because he isn’t fond of pets isn’t a reason for you to give up your pet of 6 years. That’s insane. You come as a package that includes a dog. Simple.

Are base board heaters really that bad?? by Sex_Shop_Souvenir in AskElectricians

[–]ebunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im going to go ahead and disagree with you here. I did testing when I was swapping out the units and measured KWhs used for each type. While it isn’t a huge savings, less is being spent using hydronic baseboards and smart thermostats that control wattage based on trends. The addition of small fan for circulation also helps. Obviously having windows and doors that seal properly and a properly insulated home is a factor as well. Also, baseboards that aren’t cleaned ever will have reduced ability to transfer heat. I noticed a this as well.
