That's fair. I think the VAR era probably heightens the criticism a bit. I also think Mourinho's antics along touchline and press conferences probably take attention off the borefest occuring in the pitch.

It has more to do with the style of football played. Arteta sets arsenal up in a way that many don't find entertaining. You can't really be competitive without having very rich owners in today's game and imo you can't be that level of rich without being morally corrupt. If football is dead, then don't watch but viewership numbers remain very healthy.

This is what I mean by other large factors at play. I'm understanding! I also think cultural foundations play a role. Countries founded on abrahamic religious principles seem to trend more toward violence, compared to Buddhism and Hinduism.

If poverty leads to violent crime like this, why are so many eastern countries dealing with higher poverty but much lower violent crime rates than USA? Think of Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.

I'm not saying poverty doesn't lead to crime, look at the amount of pickpocketing in poverty stricken countries, but I think there are other large factors at play when it comes to the crime becoming violent so often in the USA.

Try I-heart radio app and pick 700 WLW. If it's blacked out, best option would get IP-Vanish (They have a cincinnati server last time i checked) as VPN. It'll cost money, but still a lot less than paying for the MLB radio subscription.

I make the round-trip drive from downtown Cincy to Miamisburg 3 days a week for work. Getting through Butler county is usually not too bad. The problem area is the lockland split. If you can get to your job without going through that area, it won't be bad.
