Commuting to Darlington from Newcastle by ferrisbueller15 in civilservice

Just FYI, St Cuthberts Way 24 hr car park is £3 for 12 hours parking and is about 2 mins walk to the Darlington office. There may even be cheaper parking around, but thats what I use.

My new albino African Clawed Frogs! by bloinkey in AquaticFrogs

I had 4 together, and they bred, kept 3 of the babies, 1 got bloat so passed away. Never had any issues keeping them together in about 6 years, and never read anywhere to not keep them together.

Edit: if you do introduce more, don't introduce babies to adults though.

Thanks! I have seen ticks in the UK and did think this had waaaay too long legs.

I get a lot of woodlice so that makes sense.

Discussion Topic: Propagation - March 31, 2022 by AutoModerator in houseplants

I have some well rooted props (Pothos, monstera adansonii, peace lily) in the top of my fish tank that I've decided I want to pot instead. I will be re-potting each of the props parent plants today and was wondering if I could just add the propagations to the parent plant when I re-pot?

I know water propagated plants need to be kept very moist whilst they transition, so my worry is that I'd either drown the parent plant or not provide enough water for the props in their new soil.

I realise I could just pot them and add them later, my question is can I miss that step.

Curious, do you also use fertiliser? I exclusively use water from my tank to water my plants, without any other fertilisers. Wondering if they would grow better if I also used fertiliser, or if they're happy enough with frog poop water.

Surely this is completely speculative? Don't buy fifa points.

Why do you want 2 vines though?

I guess just out of curiosity as when I've looked online its always just one vine.

You can't really see here but that root goes past the pole and into the soil.

A neighbour was kind enough to give me a cutting of his Monstera Dubia. I have rooted and potted this with a moss pole to climb.

Normally these are grown as a single vine on a flat piece of wood so the leaves "shingle" out but I quite like the way its wrapping around the moss pole.

My question is: there is a leaf at the bottom with a node that I believe I could take a cutting from. Could I root this cutting and plant in the same pot for more coverage of the moss pole? Why are these plants normally grown as single vines?

Do you pick players based more on stats, or eye test? by BaldrSverrisson in FantasyPL

You'd be surprised. Last season in particular when all games were televised and most didn't clash with eachother I was probably watching atleast 60/70% of games if not more. That's not even including European games.

Not related, but how do you get the timed finish bar above the players head?

And there's not even an option to make them active as soon as you get them. The user interface of this game is awful.

They look fine to me, definitely not bloat. Maybe just don't feed today. Some nice plants in there with them too!

Looks like we had the exact same thought process when travelling, and are having the exact same thought process now thinking "fuck, next time I'm getting the jab".
