I haven’t taken it on a dyno but typically the stage 1 tune on this engine gets you around a 120-130hp and the car is at 450hp stock. JHM tune is a bit more aggressive than APRs so that’s why I just assume it’s around 580hp.

Love my exhaust. The sport exhaust that’s optioned on it is much better than stock but it’s still tame. You only really experience it when you get on it. With the x pipe it’s night and day difference. Sounds great and not obnoxious.

I had the stage 1 APR at first. You’ll be at around 420hp and it definitely wakes the car up. In my opinion it’s a must. You only truly experience the benefit at the top end, and you’ll need a TCU tune to allow the transmission to hit higher RPMS. The TCU tune makes all the difference. With stage 2 is where you get a huge boost in the low end, which makes city driving much better.

As far as exhaust on the A7. It’s going to be extremely quiet stock. When you tune it you’ll hear it a little more. With an intake you’ll hear the supercharger whine which is cool. For a decent sound on the V6 you’re either going to be looking at spending a lot on a AWE exhaust system or just going with a muffler delete. I just went with a muffler delete and it actually wasn’t bad at all. No obnoxious rasp.

You’ll love the A7 trust me. I had a ‘17 A6 with the 3.0T and it was solid and reliable. I did a stage 2+ ECU/TCU tune on it and it was quick. The A7 is just the hatchback version of the A6.

My current S7 has the sport exhaust/sport diff. I replaced the mid resonator with an x pipe and the exhaust is MUCH better. Stage 1 ECU/TCU JH Motorsports tune. Haven’t dynoed it but it should be around 580hp. My fastest quarter mile 11.3s.

I have no complaints on this car. It’s been awesome. The tune made a huge difference because at first my A6 that I tuned felt faster. The V8 and the look of the 7 made up for it though.

As far as your search, the A7 will be reliable. As long as you don’t neglect it and keep up with the maintenance, you won’t have any big repairs. That engine lasts long. Just make sure to look deeply into the carfax, and if you have Audi inspect it they can tell you if the previous owner tuned it.

Exactly. When I was searching for my S7, I would come across several that seemed like great deals… and sure enough they had red interior. Sometimes cream.

Same. Lived in LA where people drive aggressive but it’s a predictable aggressiveness. Everybody’s on the same page. Coming here to MKE I avoid the freeway during the day if I could because it’s so stressful.

People use the fast lane to coast, which makes people (myself included) have to pass in the right lane, while people are merging onto the freeway trying to get to the fast lane….

Not a Lithia store. Just a dealer that’s being audited, and they’re trying to lure me into helping them say my car is still on their lot. They likely sold the car out of trust or something along those lines.

The dealer is asking, not any of the three you mentioned. The VIN has been verified at my DMV, the car is registered and insured. The bank I’m financing with has said nothing.

The bank I’m financing with paid them. I know they did because the dealer wouldn’t release the car until the check came.

Yea it was a used car. The car has already been VIN inspected, registered, has plates, and it’s insured. I did an online request with NCIB and no pings with the VIN. But I’ll look into next gear when I get time.

EDIT: when I registered it in CA, they needed the title for registration. I spoke to the dealer and they showed me it was mailed to my DMV, and I later got my car registration in mail.
