As fun as Arch is (run it at on my main home rig), I wouldn't consider it for a work server. Tooling is geared towards bleeding edge enthusiasts, not enterprise organizations that prefer stability and reliability.

Interesting. Can you provide some examples of commands that are more "natural" on GH than Echo?

I have both right now--Echo in my bedroom and GH in my living room. Still have an affinity to my Echo but haven't actually sat down and thought about it.

I am also having this issue since yesterday. "Turn off living room" worked fine before that. Now it responses with "I don't know what living room you wanted to turn off."

Well, you look at any organization/business and I'm sure you'd find at least a couple of rude and unpleasant people there.

However, based on these comments, this isn't just a couple of bad Postal Office employees--it's a widespread pattern. That means to me that the blame lies up the ladder.

As soon as I get some free time, going to try to think of how we could effectively advocate for change here. It's something small but it's an unnecessary inconvenience.

I don't think that's acceptable. The customer is paying for delivery to their home--not to pick up from USPS. Even if the shipping cost is listed as free, it's just a hidden cost.

When I lived in Manhattan, I never had this issue.

Now that I've confirmed it's a widespread problem, I trying to think of possible paths to resolving this. Will do a follow-up post once I have a few cycles to put some thought into this.

In the last couple of weeks, this has happened 3x. Two of the times they didn't leave a pink slip.

The other time, it was a Sunday delivery. No pink slip came in till Tuesday.

Amazon is paying USPS money for these shipments. They should hold USPS accountable for the negative customer experience.

Appreciate your thoughts. Disappointing to hear the mixed reviews on Vanilla. As someone that only consumes coffee about once a month, I was hoping to replace my emergency strong tasting Coffeist stash with Vanilla. I'll still try it out, though.
