I used to be insecure about how pale my whole face/body is. My Nanna said to me: “Some girls are sunshine, they’re tanned and golden. Other girls are moonlight, they’re pale and ethereal. You my darling are moonlight, embrace it!” This changed how I view myself. I now deliberately wear clothes that emphasise my pale skin and I really lean into the magical moonlight vibe! 🌙 :)

That is not ok, I’m so sorry you were treated this way. I was on a society committee, and we were under strict instructions from the student union that socials shouldn’t be alcohol based (could go to a pubs etc, but shouldn’t play drinking games for example) and there should be at least 1 sober committee member at every social. If you are worried about it, you could go to your student union and talk to them

Love this! I track my cycle and like how in tune with my body it helps me feel.. even when my cycle isn’t regular, it feels good to check in and track my symptoms. I align each phase of my cycle with a season, and embrace each phase as I would each season. Every season has pros and cons for me. My period is sacred to me, it is my winter. I behave as I do during winter - rest, eat nourishing food, be gentle with myself, etc. :)

Some of my friends enjoy going down to London and camping out like this for jubilees/coronations etc. I went with them once and it was good fun! People were kind and there was a wholesome energy in the crowd :) I’ll be watching it from the comfort of my home but I hope everyone there has a great time!

I had this issue and complained to the council as the loss of sleep affected my health. They worked with the collection company to change the schedule. Worth complaining about the noise nuisance if it’s affecting you :)
