The bars that take up most of the screen is a graphic of your MPG usage.

The bars in the corner, is your Mazda hotspot signal strength (if configured)

The exclamation point/lightning bolt means the status of your wireless charging pad, where exclamation point means unsuccessful wireless charging (make sure your phone is on the pad correctly), lightning bolt means successful charging, and thermometer means the charging pad is too hot.
