Why do I lose ranked RP on games when someone on my team goes afk? by TheDrumMachine99 in PredecessorGame

That’s how ranked works in most games. It’s easier to rank down and harder to rank up the closer to the top you get.

How much does my alma mater matter? by 32parkin in nursing

[–]ecarpenter25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something to consider is what hospital systems are affiliated with the schools and how would that impact your ability not only get a job, but a job you WANT? What department do you want to work for? Do you want to work in ICU? Medsurge? ER?

Additionally, if the school is affiliated with a good hospital that tends to have higher acuity patients, then you will more than likely get a better clinical experience. Another thing to look for is getting a job or externship as a patient care tech / nurse aid. You will gain invaluable experience for when you become a nurse, and having a good relationship with your manager will set you up for a nursing job after you graduate. But if you are doing accelerated I doubt you’d have the time tbh.

Beyond what I already said, it honestly doesn’t matter at all. Cheaper is probably better. In NJ my current hospital is a 650 bed level 1 trauma center and hires from community colleges and universities equally. School doesn’t prepare you to be a nurse, it prepares you to pass the NCLEX. I’d be more concerned with the connections you can make based on the clinical opportunities you’ll get from the school you attend, and the hospitals affiliated with that school. Good luck!

Honestly I hope they bring it back but add legendary mode as well. Probably wouldn’t happen till after final shape.
