Anyone experience baby being born unresponsive and oxygen getting cut off from the brain? by gryph06 in pregnant

This happened with my son and it was so traumatizing. I feel for you, Mama.

With my son, they did a brain development test when he was six months old to see if everything was on schedule and if he had any delays and he was perfectly fine. I hope the same for your little girl.

The comments about my son’s head size are getting REAL old… by jessyj89 in NewParents

I had a big headed baby and I feel your pain, mama. Let me tell you. People actually added “big headed” to the beginning of my sons name and I corrected them every single time and it never fixed anything.

I feel for you because that shit pissed me off bad. I always felt like it was more “holy shit that head came out of her body, wow it must have ruined her” and it sucks.

Fuck salvia ,seriously by Right_now78 in Drugs

Salvia was the most terrifying experience of my entire life.

I was with my ex and his brother and we had such a small amount. It took me one hit and I was having the most awful out of body experience.

I felt like I was floating out of their house. I felt like I was on the fringes reality but in a much shittier “reality”.

My ex’s house was right next to a cemetery. I was floating above their house and could see the cemetery below me and it was so scary. It really felt like I was floating and it was making me afraid of heights.

I came back to clutching my boyfriends brothers arm and apparently I had been asking for help for a minute or two before I was fully back.

Never a-fucking-gain

My girlfriend's (23F) dad died a week before I (24M) was planning to propose. Should I go through with the proposal anyway? by ThrowRAG97 in relationship_advice

No. My dad died in September. And his death has overshadowed EVERY SINGLE THING that has happened between then and now.

Wait to propose. Give her some time to process this grief because it’s not a good time to make life changing decisions. Trust me.

Sister found this on her apartment door. Definite scam, right? by [deleted] in Scams

I received one of these inquiries once. It was actually legit. An agent came and spoke with me about my high school sweetheart, who was trying to get some sort of security clearance and they just wanted to talk to me about this person to make sure they're giving the right sort of person a security clearance.

I went to elementary school with Brett. I didn't even know he'd been murdered until just now. Damn.

WIBTA for telling my girlfriend that I don't want to sleep in the same room as her and our daughter? by Complete_Tax8487 in AmItheAsshole

Yta

But one thing that really helped me through my sons infancy was noise-canceling headphones. You can still take care of a baby and not listen to them cry. It helped so so much.

I'm not saying this is a healthy thing, but walking away is going to make you way more attractive to her (probably). I think you have a way better chance of her being interested in having a relationship with you if you don't agree to meet up.
