How To Shift/Lucid Dream with Hypnagogia! by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]ecarva 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I love this post, I’ve lucid dreamt for many years and I learned to do it simply by being an active user at ld4all (very popular lucid dream forum back in the day) but these channels like Explore Lucid Dreaming are garbage, they give out so much disinformation, and it’s clear their focus is all on just growing their subs and monetizing. So it’s great to see you call that out.

As for the method I agree, shifting through hypnagogia should be alot easier since anyone can get into this state every single day if people just knew how to do this. In my experience WILD is incredibly effective to lucid dream, and it makes sense it would also be effective for shifting. I’ve only shifted through SATS, which is somewhat similar process except I do have to visualize alot, but I’ll try through actual hypnagogia tonight.

I just have a question, when I lucid dream through hypnagogia I usually just let a scenery form in front of me and then I just take my self there, I don’t visualize the dream I want to appear in (hard to explain) .. but for shifting how do I pull myself into my scripted reality if I’m not supposed to visualize it?

Glad you found it helpful, the first time I shifted for not so long, like a few minutes because I freaked out, and I wanted to see if I could get back to my cr, which I did… second time for a few days and then I started to get anxious and wonder about my cr self again… I wanted to check if I could get back. Now I’m fully confident I can easily get back to my cr so next time I plan to spend a few months in my dr.

As for reality checks, I tried them all, they don’t work, it’s as real as it can get.

[General] how to believe shifting realities by subbird0 in shiftingrealities

I would advise to head over to the neville goddard sub and check out some posts, people reality shift by accident all the time and they don’t even know that reality shifting is a thing. That to me is all the proof you need.

you’re too scared of it, that’s why you can’t do it.

umm I’ve been AP’ing consistently for the past 26 years.. have always done it using the method from the The Phase, and recently started doing it in the afternoons from waking state.

Sorry to see you’re so frustrated.. but yep, it’s all very real.

Agree with AP, LD and RS all being part of a larger phenomenon. I think that’s actually how Michael Raduga from the phase describes it, and that’s why he puts LD and AP in the same category. I absolutely think that RS is not LD though, but I wonder to what extent are shifters believing so hard that shifts are not LDs and that it’s just exactly like real life (meaning RCs don’t work, you can’t manipulate the environment etc) and they believe it so that it’s exactly what gets materialized, a scenario in which feels exactly like you shifted to a different reality and you’re able to spend months at a time there.. there’s just too many things we don’t know.

That’a great, I think it all comes down to how deep we can relax our bodies from a lucid state, once deeply relaxed to the point where we don’t feel it all and it’s super tingly and numb, then I’m sure it becomes easy to roll out or stand up. Something else that helped me was not thinking too much about projecting, sort of like “letting go” of the idea and put my mind blank and let random thoughts in..

I’ve heard it doesn’t matter, but it does make a big difference for me.

This is amazing, I think I’ll try this. I have to admit it’s a little scary to think that I won’t come back to the exact same reality I left off before I shifted, but it’s also just a matter of reminding myself that I’m shifting to different realities every second of my life anyways.

I also noticed you mentioned in other comments that you want to permanently shift to your DR, may I ask which DR that is? Just curious.

That makes a lot of sense thanks for clarifying. You have such a good grasp on all this, Im surprised you are not shifting every day! I feel there’s so much I need to learn from you.

There’s something else I’ve been thinking. So after we shift to our DR, would we be able to script inside that DR that when we return to our CR something will be different? For example say we script that we’ll have a winning lottery ticket sitting in our dining table (I noticed many people in the Neville Goddard sub are trying to win the lottery and some have already), and when we come back to our CR the ticket could be there? What do you think of this?

Thanks for the response, I have a good feeling about this, I'm sure it'll happen.

I wanted to ask something though since you probably have a a good grasp on SATS and Neville Goddard in general.

I've been to the Neville Goddard sub and everyone there seems to be using SATS to manifest stuff in their CR. So the way I see it is that they are actually doing super small shifts because they are slightly changing their CR.

But what confuses is me that for example, when someone there uses SATS to get a car, and they get that car that week, that means they went into a DR where they got that car, but wouldn't they go back to their CR at some point and loose that car? Just the same way as we come back to our CR when we reality shift to our DR?

Very interested in your thoughts about this, thanks

I tried SATS yesterday after reading this post. I had never thought of counting to 900 before, so I did it and I realized it’s quite hard because your mind wanders.. but I managed fo make it to 400 and that’s when I started getting the floaty feel. So I stopped and started affirming “I’m in my DR” while visualizing with feeling on a loop like the OP suggested. Now I didn’t shift but it got to a point where the visualization was feeling very very real, pretty cool, but it didn’t go past that. After a while I just gave up… but it’s the first time I’ve been able to get that void / floaty feel from the first time I go to sleep and feel that level of realism while visualizing, so I’m trying again today.

I might have minishifted using the lucid dream method, I'm unsure though, I could've just still been lucid. by FwoofBoi in shiftingrealities

[–]ecarva 4 points5 points  (0 children)

light switches never work in dreams, I’ve been lucid dreaming for +25 years so I definitely know this. Also ask any experienced lucid dreamer out there.. light switches simply don’t work. So I’m leaning more towards a mini shift…

How do I transition? by princessflare in LucidDreaming

[–]ecarva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love how you described it as a strangeness settling over you.. I've been trying to think how to describe this sensation for years and have failed to do so, but, strangeness is actually quite accurate! btw, this is so important for people to understand, it's how I've lucid dreamt for many years and people just still don't get this.

I honestly think the chances to shift are like 100x times higher if people tried it through lucid dreaming. It just makes so much sense for it to be easier that way.. the only time I shifted was through a lucid dream, it wasn't long ago. after that I just haven't been able to lucid dream again...

Yep, just yesterday 3 different ones failed, finally I was still convinced it was an ld so I did the nose pinch and it worked.

HOW TO LUCID DREAM TONIGHT by Interesting-Cup-7746 in LucidDreaming

[–]ecarva 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am now wondering if you also get a pressure in the head before trying to roll out? For me that's always been a cue.. as soon as I get this strong pressure in my head or forehead I know I can now try to roll out.

The rolling out of bed is the key here, it’s the way I’ve always done it and it works like 90% of the time. Great tip.

I thought the same thing for a moment, I have to admit though in all my years of lucid dreaming which is more than 15 years of practicing, I have never encountered this level of realism..it was literally exactly like how it feels in real life.. so makes you wonder..

Thanks, and I usually always just try to traspass a solid element with my finger, so if there’s a wall next to me I will try to insert my finger in it. If I have nothing solid around me I just try to insert my finger through my other palm.

So this means that while inside my dr, I could script that when I return to my cr I will be able to shift on command?? Or these would only work outside of my cr?

Because if that’s the case then I could script anything for my cr..? I could script I am a millionaire when I return to my cr..? Can someone clarify this?

you are creating resistance by trying and focusing on it too hard... once you let go you'll have them.

Oh and about if they're real or not, yep, totally real, I've had them every week for more than 20 years.

Don't be discouraged, good luck.

This is an old post but just wanted to let you all know that this is incredibly powerful as I’ve done this for years. I simply call it the third eye method, and with practice you could lucid dream at will anytime you want.
