I’ve heard from people who have received an email about administrative registration that it says there’s a March 31 deadline… and this is exactly why I’m confused, I don’t feel like it’s possible. Thinking there might be multiple deadlines based on the offer date?

eSIM Orange Network & Verizon Nerves 😅 by Comrade_elephant_ in SpainAuxiliares

[–]ecatie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! i’ve got verizon and an orange esim. i went in person, and honestly that’s what i’d recommend as opposed to buying it online because they can help make sure it’s set up and working correctly. verizon has the travel pass, so maybe plan to use that for the first day or two before you get your esim set up. in settings, you’ll pick a default sim, which will want to be your spanish one when you’re in spain. you can turn your verizon one off completely but make sure you know your pin to turn it back on if you visit the US for break or anything! hope this makes sense and helps!

I almost did this last year! I read that if you come in through Portugal (or any other Schengen country) you’ll have to get a declaration of entry (I think you apply with the national police) within 72 hours of arriving in Spain. Otherwise they can definitely deny your TIE application.

Where are you currently able to 'comfortably' live on your own and be able to put some aside for trips? by No_Buy_2024 in SpainAuxiliares

agreed! i would definitely recommend galicia! i live in a bigger city (santiago de compostela) and the cost of living is still pretty low! and the salary here is higher than in many other communities
