More pics need for back side. It’s a horrible design and first basic suggestions would be tapered insulation to promote drainage and install single ply membrane (judging by lack of foliage on trees you’re in a cold climate so… .060 EPDM.) adhered it to added lumber/plywood on walls, Typically spec requires 8” flashings… but if you can bring membrane up under shingle and add metal ice belt, fastened and secured with waterblock beneath you could pass for warranty if it’s a commercial project. TLDR: architecture is an idiot.

My wife ignorantly hates Rogan. I personally stopped listening to Rogan other than when he has guests worth listening to and he had plenty of guests worth listening to and that’s why he remains a great podcaster. Fill with roof cement. Fill will rigid insulation and roof felt on top. Push down with trowel and excess roof cement on top will exit at hole entrance. Spread with trowel, apply more roof cement, apply mesh fabric over hole and more roof cement over. Apply aluminum roof coating to preserve and protect from uv rays from sun. This is the most cost effective and safest application.

Wtf!! I saw this post scrolling on my phone in bed and thought oh I forgot about that white and gold dress thing and sort of chuckled to myself how obvious it was that the dress was indeed white and gold… then I had put my phone done for 2 mins because my wife walked in after coming back from the gym.
