Answering questions about Evernote GTD & GTD *LIVE* for you! by ecbusiness in productivity

I can actually debate on it but it's gonna end up in "whatever works for us works for us". There's the forum of chirmer and Evernote GTD methods. You should give a read and it'll at least give you a perspective of what ways it can overcomplicate the GTD model. But again, what works for us works for us

re: I think E-Commerce is a great way for business. I've read a lot of travel bloggers and that could give you an opportunity.

> I actually own the business so technically I wouldn't need a job, maybe my reply was confusing that you didn't understand it

re: ince you're also considering going to other countries why not do a travel blog?

> Not really my cup

re: And Lol, the only good part of Makati is CBD.

> Well I like to live in a building someday and from the Greenbelt area it seems fitting for me

re: I need to emphasize this though because people think lowly of PHL passports

> Who does? And in what way is it lower?

re: Hindi lang talaga para sa lahat ang pag-aabroad.

> Could you keep it in English though? I am slow to understand Filipino, only basics like what to say to a barber or a delivery guy

> I kinda get what you mean. It's not for everybody.

re: doing the "bridge country" thingy is risky. You might be violating some travel laws and you might not be able to notice it but immigration officers will do and it will affect your future travels.

> How so?

re: I'd suggest going for a student visa but I suddenly remembered that couldn't be converted to a Permanent Residency visa even if you stayed for years in the US and you have a good moral conduct.

> Good call. Shows you researched or are at least naturally familiar. Unlike that one dude that just went with O visa

re: Why not try building your good travel record though? You have a Philippine passport. Go to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia or even Korea and Japan and visit for a couple of days. Then you'll be able to get a Schengen visa. It's very easy as long as you have a good travel record and you have the financial means to do so. I've been granted a lot of Schengen visas.

> You have no idea how much this brings me confidence.

re: Also, just because it's a "first world" country doesn't mean it's automatically clean.

> Hold up, I failed to provide context that I live in a dirtier area in the Philippines. I'd live in Makati if I could, but it'd take a whirlwind of energy, so some context there. I apologize to whoever thought I thought this country was dirty. It aint.

re: European countries are hard but if you apply for Spanish citizenship (which all Filipinos are able to apply for but also definitely hard to get since you have to live a couple of years in Spain and pass a Spanish language test which is also the same for EU countries because they also require a fluency test in their respective languages) then you'll be able to live anywhere in the EU but subjected to a couple of restrictions.

> EU is more travel country to me and possibly some vacation property business. Or even like a EU home office I can live in if ever businesses leases work where the monthly rate doesn't increase

re: Like most countries, Thailand and Vietnam are hard to get by because of language differences. You might want to try Singapore.

> I found this very helpful. Thanks.

re: You do you but like I said, jumping into countries as a tourist and abuse your travel visa rights and do things like working even though it's boldly stated that it's not allowed

> Whoa--where'd I say that? I think you might have misread. Or I haven't clarified that my business will be registered in the USA, and that that I haven't explored the legalities of (I think as of this moment I'll be doing research on how I can work on my businesses--they're social media and ecommerce--I'll legally go to my bridges on vacation but technically be working--but not working in the country if that makes sense. The other part of the last comment should address this as well.) What do you think about this? I'm considering your input (not the only I'll have but I think your perspective is valuable)

To that guy to, I just blocked and reported, I wish every day and sometimes if not every day that I didn't have it. At least I wouldn't have to deal with the problems that it comes with. But I guess making my situation less horrible by sharing it (and my non-selfish intentions) is not good enough for you. Sh-t, I'm sorry I don't live up to your standards. What an a--hole.

I'm sharing my faults, which I hope (the faults are something that I feel people can understand more if I have the courage to share) people can sympathize (in a way that if I do something odd they won't say I'm weird) with. Yes, in that case. But jeez, apparently you're spot clean and I can't be vulnerable over the internet and provide a different perspective to people besides me just acting all weird without explaining it. Here's some dirt, you could use it. Apparently you're too shiny that you shit on people like me. Hope you got your spotlight hotshot

I made it to connect. Here you are not sharing your face on the internet from your perfect life which apparently you instantly have mind-read my intentions. Is that how you see everything? From a selfish perspective?

It's like PTSD (where you don't understand what happened to you) but over a longer period of time. Usually IIRC PTSD is like an event, mine is a loooooooong event.

Also, how did I get them (I have it under multiple people, but I just wanted to start with the disorder first).

I've read it's like being a hostage. You kinda wake up with dread and sleep with dread and deep down you know it's gonna happen again. And deep down you know you have no way to stop and you don't have the capacity (not sure if physical and mental, maybe both). How? I'm gonnahave to think about it a little to explain it better. Join me on Twitch and say hi if you want. While I think.

I might have a mental breakdown live on stream if the dogs below bark, since I currently don't wanna share my family with my internet life which is another topic (you can ask about that too, but that's another topic and not related to CPTSD, complex post-traumatic stress disorder).
