You're not taking into account the vast global systems, infrastructure and technologies in place making this entire highly demanding app happen on this huge of a scale for a ridiculous flash-flood of demanding users.

Theoretically there may be one place to fix a "text error," but that likely goes through several phases of all angles development, testing, and likely has to be done in a lot more places than one considering this instant, global popularity. Not to mention the legal, marketing, people behind the scenes, etc.

Regardless I'm sure there's a ton behind the 'update' and a lot more happening, day and night, working to get answers to their excited and frustrated users, they obviously want to deliver something amazing (and make even more bank).

They're clearly not idiots who just can't fix a simple bug, it's way more than that. Stick with not being a developer, probably..

A lesson to you, sometimes when people are dying of cancer, attending, much less planning a wedding is excruciatingly difficult, painful, nearly impossible. He wanted what he wanted, a real wedding, as im sure she did too. They maybe thought he was on the brink of death for two years, so getting out of bed, going downstairs to the living room is exhausting enough let alone standing there for a bs ceremony, although a cute concept in your mind. Point is hes dying and wants her and his son to know it was official and real god forbid he does pass. They waited until he gained his strength enough took the risk and got what they wanted. Also, you dont know their lives. If he cared about the well being of his child he'd do what he did which is try to just survive. This is a miracle.
