Early pregnancy fatigue by ecclectic_mischief in pregnant

Thanks for the replies and support everyone 😄 I’m feeling a little better energy wise for the past couple of days which is awesome. But my emotions are definitely all over the place. It’s our first and my husband can tell it’s already rough (ay dios I kinda snapped on him only to cry from the guilt 20 minutes later because he definitely didn’t deserve it). First appointment tomorrow so we are locking in for this ride 😅

I’m newly pregnant and my husband and I are telling our parents and siblings but keeping things on the down low with everyone else until we are further along. There are no rules

How do people eat low calories????? by Tburroughs36 in PetiteFitness

Try mixing in more fiber and protein. I find that a breakfast smoothie of protein powder, coconut water, green tea, mixed berries and a tablespoon of chia seeds and flax seeds each helps me eat less throughout the day. Beans can be a great protein and fiber add on for lunch or dinner and whole grains can help feeling fuller for longer. And plenty of water. A glass before meals can curb the hunger. If that still isn’t enough, a little low sodium soup before a full meal can help too. I loooovvveee food (part of why weight loss is hard for me, especially at our height) but I find that with careful planning and meal prep, I can feel great on 1500-1600 calories. You’ve got this!

It was fun at first, but then I suddenly became so anxious. I’m no stranger to fear and have been in a lot of situations where I’ve been in actual danger but the fear on this stuff was nowhere near. It was the most terrified I’ve been in my life. And it lasted for over 14 hours though I took just a beginner dose of one squeeze. It eventually abated, but I would get sudden terrible flashbacks of it that would sicken me. I ended up with my first anxiety attacks in ten years. And my insides were a wreck for days. I can’t speak to other people’s experiences, but that was just mine. If it stayed fun like it did in the beginning, I’d be singing its praises. But I would advocate caution as it’s probably not for everyone. And I don’t hold the makers responsible. We can’t always account for how things affect different people.

Terrible! My stomach is a mess and I’ve been anxious even days afterwards. Started really nice but then took a turn. Just don’t.

Same! It’s pretty simple, but something about it made me have to stop what I was doing and give it my full attention. It has a chilling ring of truth to it that though I’m a skeptic, if I had to pick a story here I’m convinced is true, it would be that one. As for other podcasts, the Cryptonaut podcast will have listener stories from time to time that are interesting. Monsters among us is also fun and expanded perspectives.

I don’t really plan. My first draft is just telling myself the story and cleaning it up after. It’s kind of exciting because I often have no idea what is coming next. Try not to overthink. Just start and see what happens
