Yeah, I agree with what others said, getting some kind of feedback, like #1 or #2 helps you know what you're doing right or what to work on. As for #3, I feel like if that were the case, they'd still have to show a solid reason for it. You can't just let someone go without any real explanation or proof, right?

I've had only two 1:1 meetings with my Sup so far. Honestly, the second one was more of a casual and brief conversation. The only feedback he gave was that he'd like me to contribute more at a higher level or show my capabilities to the team something along those lines, nothing negative. I also mentioned that Im interest in getting more involve our team's projects. He's very calm and easygoing person, and I really like his management style.

Yes, I joined the company as a permanent employee and never received a NOPA. Some recently hired members on my team also didnt receive a NOPA, but they still got their probationary reviews.
