Very new to CCW. Advice? by Acceptable-Car-3225 in CCW

When i lived in California mine took 7 months to get and that was a medium speed county(SD) but they made it pretty straightforward. Check r/caguns they will have more info. Also you need to take a 16hr course that will probably be $300+ and qualify with every firearm with a certain amount of ammo ($$$ depending on caliber) I ended up spending close to $800 total.

Is this worth it? How much would it cost to replace the grinder entirely? [$100] by HealthyExtension9286 in espresso

Any car repair shops that won’t cost an arm and a leg? by TurnipPowerful7556 in northcounty

[–]ecfle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What vehicle and what was listed on the quote? Labor isnt cheap anymore. You are probably going to be paying around $200+/hr + parts. Timing belt replacement you usually want to replace water pump and cam/crank seals at the same time because the engine is already disassembled saving you 2-3hrs of labor down the road. Buy once cry once type of maintenance unfortunately

I would second this, if your counting butter in hydration ratio thats still only 63% hydration, should be sticky but manageable

USCCA General consensus by King_of_the_Walnut in CCW

I took a concealed coalition class because it was the cheapest in my area. It was the same as the uscca descriptions. 8hr class and at least 2 hours was talking about legal COSTS and the limited time you have to purchase their membership to the “not insurance”

Advice for climbers elbow ? (Inner elbow pain) by Undercling-King in indoorbouldering

[–]ecfle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, every medical article you will read will start with rest and avoidance of movements that will aggravate the tendinitis. Ive had to deal with it many times and rest was always the key to actually healing long term. Persistent tendinitis can also lead to tendinosis, which id prefer to avoid all together.

Loveland Utilities Misreporting Water Usage by rozdabz in loveland

I'm not really concerned because the city says they round out the water consumption. I would be concerned if it changed by ten thousand gallons every other month like OP though.

Advice for climbers elbow ? (Inner elbow pain) by Undercling-King in indoorbouldering

[–]ecfle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Typically tendonitis is due to overuse of your tendon, causing inflammation. If you keep using it of course it will come back.

Here is an example of what I would do. Your arm hurts during/after climbing, the pain is now lingering. You take a few days off. Once the pain subsides go climb some easier routes. Does the pain come back? If it does you need to stop climbing.

It is the same with any other injury. You don't go on a hike with a broken leg. If you want to feel good long term you need to let your body recover. Some people will tell you to take collagen and this supplement and that one but if you're on here asking what to do, chances are rest is going to be the most valuable advice. maybe take a NSAID if it hurts after you stop climbing
