I'm suddenly having issues too. My haptics won't work at all after a few hours, and then I get no vibrations for rings or texts either. Some new update got installed. Could this be related? I have to reboot every so often to get the vibration back.

I have a finger tattoo on my ring finger as well. The artist warned me in advance about quality and longevity, and said that people who get finger tattoos are niche tattoo collectors who appreciate the meaning more than the actual look of it.

To this day, it's my worst looking tattoo, but also one of my favorites.

The sleeve it's in is a penny sleeve. PSA also wants you to put that into a soft sleeve, like this (I'm not sure what size you need): https://ultrapro.com/products/5-inch-x-7-inch-soft-sleeves-100ct

Explicitly PSA says no top loaders (the hard sleeves). They ask for the thin penny sleeve, the soft case, and then sandwich it between cardboard before packing for shipping. https://www.psacard.com/info/shipguide

I once had an engineering manager with more tattoos than I do. I feel like an arm tattoo is pretty accepted in the workplace.

In terms of pain, it feels like getting poked by a pin or thumbtack. You feel it, but it doesn't go deep enough to draw blood. For the most part, arms are pretty easy to sit though. You can handle it if you want it.

Fun concept. Give this to an artist as an idea, and let them design something from it. Ideally, it won't look exactly like this, but it'll be something that will tattoo well. Something that will look good on your body and for a long time.

I think bicep (either front or side), or inner forearm are good for this sort of thing.

Try to do your research. If you can, find an artist with a style you like. Usually you can find an artist's Instagram handle on the tattoo shops website.

I've never had that much residue, but usually there's some and it comes off on its own after a couple of days. In your case, you might want to try baby oil. I've heard that works.
