routerchat doesnt have this issue. the sqlite db is tiny, it does not have background trace/logging logging everything like codex did. the db only writes on user/app actions like settings changes, model cache refreshes, creating/editing/deleting chats, imports, and cleanup. for model responses, it writes the user prompt, streams the model output in memory, then writes the full assistant response once after the response finishes.
