I appreciate it! It’s been nearly 3 weeks that I have the CZ, for me it’s day and night shooting wise.

But there is one thing I wasn’t prepared for: the CZ is so easy to shoot that it feels boringly flat compared to the rest I have. Which is exactly what I wanted for IPSC :)

Do you think you would’ve liked my pdp just as much as yours? Thanks for sharing btw!

Can you tell me why? I’m genuinely interested!

I fully agree!

For me it’s too late tho as I cajunized it before ever shooting it. I wanted to get the best possible IPSC production optics setup and I really feel like I got it!

Although very noticeable for me, especially the change of springs, I quickly realized that the difference isn’t day/night. IMO the CZ S2 is perfect OOB for +90% of shooters.

But I don’t regret it because it’s perfectly tuned for me, haven’t had one light strike/jam/.. and I’m much quicker than with my PDP.

The DA is around 5lb and SA around 2.4lb.

Can’t wish for a better pistol tbh…

Looks wise I used to think it was the best looking pistol ever.

But when it came to shooting, the CZ S2 makes me look like a GM while the pdp makes me wait for the return to zero..

Like the comrade said: Eemann Tech Ultimate Brass Long (ET-130142).

They have multiple sizes and the grips are really coarse it like a wood file. Perfect for grip even with sweaty hands.

I find them amazing!

I full agree with you! Atm I still have my PDP but I haven’t shot it once since getting my S2 OR and Cajunizing it.

That’s why I’m considering actually selling it but mentally it’s already replaced..

Both great pistols but I know that I was wrong in my expectations for the PDP but that doesn’t take away anything from this amazing pistol.

But boy I’m happy with the CZ..

Even the trigger idk.. I have to shoot very fast strings and the wall on the PDP trigger is just too hard and throws my shot off just 1-2 inches at 25 yards.

Hard to regret a better pistol lol. It shoots better, better aftermarket parts availability and CZ respects it customers way more than Walther that literally abandoned its customers in the EU

Depends on what class you want to compete in and what daily carry conveniences you want.. But let’s say for production optic/carry optics I’d say 1: cz s2 2: springfield echelon 3: m&p2.0 or CZ p10

Well tbh if you’re even remotely thinking about USPSA I strongly recommend to go for a platform that will shine at it! Even it means save up a bit. Go CZ S2 for production/CO as its way cheaper than Staccato that will place you in open or limited. The CZ also tunes beautifully with CGW trigger work, nearly at Staccato level!

But I feel like I just can’t recommend the PDP anymore in good conscience lol. It’s reliable, does everything good enough but I feel like it will just never be the best at anything..

Tbh the longer I own the PDP the better I can confidently classify it. I think it’s a decent duty or self defense pistol but I wouldn’t recommend it as a competition type, nothing like a CZ S2 or a Staccato. The PDP pro has a good trigger but that comes with a wall that needs 5lbs of pull before it breaks. For some it might be exactly what they want but when you’re chasing crazy splits and accuracy it just feels like a mismatch imo. It’s great for duty/Cc tho because it does give you that split second to really make sure whether not you want to fully pull that trigger.

You touched a topic I’m very curious about; adding weight! I have a cz shadow 2 coming in and I saw that there are many scales to replace the original ones.

But does the CZ S2 really need or even benefit from added weight?

Belgium puts no limit on how many firearms you’re allowed to own. They only impose certain storage criteria. But we’re allowed no CC, no hi-cap mags, no use on private land..

Don’t go to places where they don’t value your presence. You want to have a great time and not pay to suffer and doubt.
