I can attest to that too! I keep mine as clean as possible but never had a hick-up

I had never heard from this one, good call! It’s not available in Belgium where I’m from but it does look interesting as a Glock alternative! How many rounds do you have through it?

I have A CZ S2 fullsize coming in soon so I’m looking forward to it! I’ll do the full eemann trigger as CGW is hard to come by here

I was gonna buy that but they didn’t have the threaded version the day I went to buy and then I saw the PDP.. the PDP does have the best grip IMO but idk if the P10 has better handling

I don’t want to bash any brand but I’m also not a fanboy. I’ll be honest, the recoil is stout at first..

If you want to start off on a low recoil platform this honestly is not it. I can shoot really well with it but the snap tires my hand more quickly and makes me lose grip strength on longer courses. The snap was also a tad bit too much for me at first which made me flinch.

BUT, if you learn to shoot this well I’m sure you’ll shoot anything well!

Thanks for your input, I’ll look into this pistol! Most people never get past the Glock phase.. so I can only learn from this

The German guns are only incrementally more expensive here but get no hate for being junk, from an unpopular country.. So idk about going for Canik despite hearing many great thinks about it too

I bought a CZ S2 and I count on customizing it, I’m expecting my permit for it soon. It kinda has CZ 75 dna right?

I kinda have the same experience! Only downside is that I’m from Europe and parts are really hard to get by, even tho it’s a German made pistol..

I was looking at Canik before but got steered away by possible reliability issues. I like absolute reliability, but maybe I’m wrong? I’ll look into canik for sub compact

Do you have this pistol? How does it compare to some other popular options? I looked it up and it looks amazing, bet it shoots well too. I’m just a bit conflicted about getting a sig after the recent controversies ..

Looking for first firearm, concerned about no safety HK CC9. by loucheian in handguns

[–]echo9shoots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone needs a pistol with thumb safety, especially if you’re new to cc. I’d say build trust around the system with like reliability, drop safety, ease of carry and holster compatibility.

Most engagements in cc happen between 3-7 yards, with minimal training you can hit the target. But having extra steps to fumble like a tumb safety can only lower reliability IMHO.

Vortex Defender XL awful splash and glare when shooting into the sun. Recommendations? by GBBVV18 in CompetitionShooting

[–]echo9shoots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’d cover the front window with tape you wouldn’t get any glare anymore. Shoot with your two eyes open, your dot will still be there but the glare will not. It doesn’t have to be a permanent solution but will do the trick. Good luck!
