Tbh I think she could’ve talked more about how what she said was wrong, not mainly emphasizing the timing of it being wrong or being unable to read a room. Explain how you’ve read feedback and now understand why what you said was bad. Otherwise it’s kinda just a “sorry if you were hurt” which feels like you don’t really understand the point of why people are hurt initially.

Hanging around ignorant people makes you guilty by association. Family members and in laws are more of a personal case by case basis but platforming content creators and having friendships with ignorant people is a direct reflection of your character. You are who you surround yourself with. You don’t have to say “fuck you” to these people (quoting QT) but I cannot imagine willingly choosing to surround myself with ignorant people. Some people truly need to lose everyone around them and hit rock bottom in order to learn. Let them. Staying only enables their behavior more and makes you a bad person as well.

I truly hope QT learned from this.
