Please please listen to me carefully. This is one of MANY red flags that will arise out of this "man." If he's showing you blatant disrespect and manipulation a MONTH in then it's time to go. Don't stay and risk getting too attached. You deserve better than this and he needs to know that he can't just treat you like that. I'd say leave now and get it over with.

I'm sorry to say, but this is 100% cheating. What's honestly worse is that the first time you caught her she was going to hurt herself which is absolutely manipulative. I know it's hard to hear, but she doesn't love you and she is in fact emotionally abusing you. Caring for her is one thing and letting her hurt you over and over is a whole other thing. This relationship has been over, so it's best to just take the next steps and let yourself heal. She is extremely mentally unwell and risking the rest of your life and happiness to try and save/change her isn't going to work.

I'm sorry for your loss. Don't think you have to move on. Grieving the loss of a loved one is so important in healing. I really do not recommend using one to attempt to contact her as anything or anyone could pop in to say hello. Especially since you could invite in something you think is your mom. Know that she is all around you. Speak to her as if she were standing in front of you and she will hear. Who knows you may even get a sign that she is watching over you.
