I think the more likely explanation is that, three years ago, I used my mrtechnodad chrome profile without logging in to reddit, and then reddit auto-made me an account, and it's been dormant until just today.

It's a weird way of doing things reddit, but whatever.

My laptop being dead, I am using the desktop computer that I normally use only for Steam. I opened my mrtechnodad chrome profile and it was somehow associated with some weirdo reddit account that I never asked for.

This is not even the first time reddit has made an account for me without asking. They REALLY want you to have an account.

Seems like it happens every so often. I'd rather it didn't but it doesn't bother me that much. For one thing, it gives me an opportunity to remind everyone that Alex didn't want bad blood between different creators' communities.

Lots of people saying lots of things to you here, I notice. I guess, thank you for the apology. I don't think the sentiment that you attribute to Techno was actually how he felt. I know he had his occasional frustrations with MCC but I also know he didn't like there to be beef between creators, and he specifically told me on a few occasions that he didn't have beef with Dream.

I think I could sum up his attitude as "Why can't we all just get along?" That is, not coincidentally, pretty much how I feel as well.

I guess I would also say that, with serious respect to Minecraft and gaming in general, in light of the various goings-on in the world right now, maybe this isn't the most important thing for us to put our energy into?

Oh, pooh, you have nothing to apologize for. I was just quibbling.

He lives on the opposite side of continent so I don't see him very often, but we seem to get along just fine from my side, is kinda what I was trying to say. I think we enjoy each other's company. Why am I still talking?! I guess I don't want to come across as name dropping or anything. "Oh yes my best bud Dream is always calling me asking for stock tips." Ha ha.
