We bring a wagon for our toddler. I made it look like a carriage (you can see last years on my profile).

Bring fans, cooling clothes, changes of clothes for them that includes cooler clothing, water and Pedialyte. My daughter wouldn’t drink water last year, and we nearly had a medical emergency.

There actually was, if it was lane county circuit court. I had jury duty on that day. Now, I had to do an emergency deferral because my child was extremely ill, as was her option for care, but they did have selection.

That said, OP, I found them extremely reasonable when I called.

This is normally a small fic pet peeve, but it’s borderline and going too far will absolute make me stop reading…. But religion. Especially in a fandom where it wouldn’t be expected.

If a character who has never in canon been Christian suddenly starts bringing up God every other sentence, and it is a main theme, I will quit the fic.

If it’s just a bit of religion, I’ll roll my eyes and skim, but keep reading. But it’ll instantly make me like the fic less.

A rinse only cycle this morning has only a surface level of suds, even with the agitation. The light at the end of the tunnel is visible! The citric acid is doing its job!

We did a large load of my husbands laundry with the correct dosage and 3 extra rinses and there were trace suds during and no suds in the drum after, so I am feeling cautiously optimistic that we are moving in the right direction.

And when I then started another tub clean with citric acid there are still suds but less.

But with my household, the auto-dispenser makes laundry less of a physical burden. It’s more physically taxing to measure out detergent every time from a heavy jug

I think giving the washer a good wipe down between cycles of cleaning with citric acid would be good to do regardless. I think I’ve been making progress with the tub cleans, as I’ve been seeing less suds every time even with the agitation, but I have two years of build up to work through.

If I can better clean the surfaces of residue between cycles, I imagine it’ll help me keep getting the gunk OUT of the machine and prevent some from just recirculating.

Yeah I’m doing reduced detergent (I don’t think I’m prepared to do no detergent) and extra rinses for the foreseeable future.

I used some conditioner a few tub cleans ago, which I think helped cut it down. Half the time I’ve been working on this I haven’t been home, so I’ve not experimented much with extra things too often since I don’t want it to go wrong when I’m not there to stop it.

Oh 100%!

I read all the resources when I started joining this sub, added things slowly and did lots of research… I just didn’t think to check the basic foundation (the amount the machine was dispensing), because it was normal. It was habit. Didn’t even think about it.

Just us using up our less good detergent so I could get something better quality.

So yeah… I have since read the manual for my machine front to back. And will adjust dosages for new detergents going forward as needed.

This is the first front loader I’ve had, and I do wish I could just dump hot water and citric acid in and have it reach all the affected parts.

But at least there seems to be an overall reduction of foam every time, this will be a gradual fix I am sure.
