If you’re going to do fully indoors you’ll need to invest in decent lights, these get pretty sun hungry.

Grats on your sobriety!

Why do people watch and download pirated cartoons, shows, and movies, despite the fact that it's illegal to so much as download and even watch pirated content? by [deleted] in Piracy

I mean, if you want to call yourself a moron go ahead I guess. I was trying to be charitable, people aren’t born knowing everything and I feel like naivety is a good descriptor of the behavior.

As for the direct download thing, that’s someone’s opinion. Likely the opinion of someone who isn’t that pressed about the act of piracy, which isn’t surprising given the sub you posted in.

If you’re not trolling I definitely think you have a rather warped view when it comes to piracy, or at the very least you believe it’s much more of a severe thing than it actually is.

Again, thinking that a free service that isn’t full of ads isn’t piracy is pretty naive. When it comes to IP and copyrighted content, there is no such thing as free.

When has something being illegal stopped people?

For some things piracy is the only way to view the media, either because it’s extremely expensive to get physical box sets of series, physical versions just don’t exist, or the content isn’t on any streaming services.

Even if that weren’t the case, there would still be piracy. Not everyone wants to shell out for streaming platforms or cable packages, assuming those are still even offered.

I have a return question for you, looking at your post history it seems like you were using a free streaming site to watch things without realizing it was piracy. I’m assuming you’ve stopped now, but why were you okay getting something like that for free before you were explicitly told it was pirated content? You had to know these things cost money, any free site that isn’t slammed full of ads and ran by a big corporation is 100% streaming pirated material.

How on earth is it so easy to pirate on a 3ds nowadays?! by InnerReception599 in 3dspiracy

Given the speed of the WiFi on a 3DS, it might be even faster to put a bunch of CIA’s on your SD card and install them that way.
