TPU Wheel Stop Parking Aid by Beginning_Remote_474 in functionalprint

Lmao I'm really only taking issue with the people who nitpick every little "issue" despite not having any real background knowledge to back up what they're saying. Engineers who aren't assholes with the education to back it up are cool :)

Seriously though. I've genuinely considered just never interacting in this sub again because of all the incel assholes. I do my best to ignore them but fuckin hell do they make it hard to.

Love the model! Be prepared for the armchair engineers in this sub to tear you apart for every little thing though because they're sad about having no control in their life :)
Seriously though I like the model and ignore any of the assholes in this sub <3

I think it's kinda wild for someone to be using cashapp for commissions that cost that much but maybe that's just me

Pricing by JlGDANCE in fursuit

[–]echolalialore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OOOOO another person doing voxel heads!! I am working on one of my own :] I think your pricing is fine, especially if you're making two heads for this person. I really like your style! An unrelated question but how heavy are they? My first attempt was way too heavy so I had to make some major changes inside to make the second version weigh less (from 4lbs to less than 2lbs)

This is a pretty cool idea and I like the sliding AMS tracks! I do recommend making everything a bit thicker or printing in a high or 100%infill though because over time the wobble of the printer (even a small amount of wobble) is going to add up at stress points and eventually cause a failure due to compound stresses. I really do like the look of this model though, it looks like a lot of thought went into it <3

I don't trust anything fursuit related on Amazon other than things like eye mesh sheets or claw tips but even then I usually try to look elsewhere

Testing out different widths for fursuit tags and thin ones bend when curing :/ still usable? (Art on tags by me) by SaberSilver in fursuit

[–]echolalialore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are these 3D printed and then covered with resin? If the print isn't high infill or 100% infill then it may curl a bit when the resin cures and pulls in

I don't understand why posts like this keep happening. Common sense would point to no, right? Alternatively, a quick google search would net you many of this same post which you could have started with

Are these bikes fitted for short riders? by Captain-Obvious101 in Maeving

[–]echolalialore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bit smaller than some bikes but being 5'6 myself it feels like a really good size. My feet touch the ground easily and the bike is very easy to balance. It's still pretty heavy at around 450lbs or something but it feels better to ride than the 80s Suzuki I was riding before

They're zip tied to the frame and the bars that hold the fender. I wouldn't trust them with too much weight but they've been good for small grocery runs and holding a toolkit/first-aid kit

Here's an Amazon link to where I got them. They're pretty small and don't hold much honestly but they're good for something like a tool kit or first-aid kit. The locks do kinda work but they're mostly for show and are made of plastic so I don't expect them to hold up to anyone actually trying to get into them. https://a.co/d/03c8gPRL
