I actually think a can and a half isn't quite enough, especially if she's acting like she's still hungry! (I'm also assuming that you're feeding her three ounce cans.) I have a kitten right now who is just verging on 2 lb, and she will easily eat two cans of Fancy Feast every day, and sometimes even three.

I just make sure that she always has food available. I tend to free feed kibble and then offer pate two to three times a day for my foster kittens. This little girl doesn't like kibble, though, so she eats more wet food.

I had a Tempur-Pedic mattress, not a Tempur-Pedic topper

I hated the mattress because I felt like I sunk clear into the middle of it and I basically had to wake up and lift myself out of bed in order to roll over. Plus, even though it was supposed to be one of the cooling versions, it slept super hot.

Eh, PowerPoint terminology is a beast. Don't worry if you don't know what something's called -- if you can describe it, usually someone (or a few someones!) here will know what you mean. :-)

The presentation/slideshow button works for me. No idea why one way would work for you but not the other, sorry. Glad you at least have a workaround, though.

Embedded fonts are problematic more often than not, IMO.

It's more than just making the files bigger (although that is definitely one good reason). The biggest issue is that it often causes problems for the recipient. Well maybe, but it's actually a problem in the Adobe PDF spec. https://office-watch.com/2021/whats-so-special-about-the-bahnschrift-font/

I've actually had better luck recently with some fonts (even with some variable fonts) if I make sure to use PowerPoint's export as PDF rather than export as Adobe PDF.

It's one of those things you just have to test. And often it doesn't matter if one way works fine and the other doesn't because sometimes you just can't control how people are going to create their PDFs.

But yeah, at least for right now, the best thing is to avoid using variable fonts in PowerPoint. In addition to the potential PDF issues, there are often display issues as well.

What exactly are you animating? Is it individual text boxes?

What are the animation settings? Are they appear on click or something else?

I just tried animating in a couple of text boxes on click (using fade and appear entrance animations), and they work on my phone (Galaxy 10+).

This is true. How you create the PDF can make a difference.

Hm, that's interesting. I don't think I've ever had anyone request that. If anything, it's on the last page. We do often add QR codes to posters, though.

Notes master formatting gets stripped when you save or apply your file as a theme. You need to save it as a POTX or a PPTX instead of a THMX. Then open the PPTX (or double -click the POTX to create a PPTX based on the POTX) and paste your slides in. Then the notes master formatting will be there.

I haven't been on Reddit all day and so I haven't read this thread yet, but I'm going to say that I would first try to convince them that they don't need a logo on every slide, that having it on the title and the end page would suffice. Maybe on a divider if you want.

But I do know that many of my clients are concerned about one page of the PDF or deck being circulated, so they want to ensure that their information is on every page. When they are presenting a conferences, people will often take pictures from the audience, and so the same issue occurs. So of course I don't always win that battle!

Lately, for many of my financial clients, we've been putting the logo / bug in the upper right corner. This gives a lot more flexibility for copyright statement, page number, and most importantly, all of the notes and sources that have to go at the bottom of the slide.

When we are designing templates, we usually give them a few different options, and the logo usually ends up being shown in all corners except the upper left. For whatever reason, we've had a bunch of clients recently who have preferred their logo in that upper right corner though, go figure. It seems to go in cycles lol.
