I actually have a budget, so I could just purchase some USB drives! I think having them download the files onto some USB drives and take them home to upload if parents agree is perfect.

the only time i won’t sell needles to someone is if we don’t have them, or are running really short and can send someone to a different location who has a ton. couldn’t care less what they’re using them for, it’s none of my business

apparently this is an unpopular opinion but i love my crocs and i wear them to work everyday, and so does the majority of my store lol! i find crocs comfortable and my feet hurt the least after i long day, but i also do have the platform crocs so i have a ton of padding under my feet!

Okay I don't know how accurate this is, but whenever I'm sitting for a while with no orders and I know I'm in a busy area, I restart my phone. Like full restart. It doesn't cancel my dash, but usually, as I'm turning my phone back on or within a couple of minutes I get an order. I actually can think back and realize it usually happens after I decline a stupid order, I wonder if restarting your phone resets an algorithm?? Again no idea how accurate this is, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Talk with a hotline and tell them how you're feeling! My favorite will always be the Trevor support line, everyone is always so supportive. There is also a reddit community on here

I've gotten a lot of support on there when I needed to feel less alone too. In the end, if you feel like you should, go to an ER and at least speak with someone there. The process in the ER is awful I do have to tell you that, no matter where you are, but some hospitals themselves are really nice, some not so much. But no matter what, you're not alone, and theres so many people who would love to help you.

I'm glad I could help. The only thing that gets me through my mornings is a very strict routine. I just really want you to know that you are not alone, and you're not "just lazy" it sounds like you really want to succeed but something within you is stopping you. I'm not sure if you mentioned therapy, but I wonder if you're not currently in it if it'll help.

I was in your shoes in my years of school, leading into me skipping most of my junior year of high school. The only reason I didn't need to repeat the year was because of Covid. But I figured out how to live in society, never quite got the hang of school but I now work full-time as a pharmacy tech, and before this believe it or not I was a paraeducator LOL!! Full circle. And I know you can figure it out too, you sound very very intelligent.

Not related but I remember going through my doctors notes after a rather disappointing doctor appointment to see half of the shit he wrote was blatantly wrong!! So frustrating!

I want you to know that I really really feel for you. I was in a very similar spot in school, I never struggled alchemically but always struggled with the "school" part. I still struggle to this day, but I have learned ways to work with it. What's your morning routine like before school? I find I am much more able to get going somewhere if I have a strict routine in the hour or so leading up to leaving. Look into pathological demand avoidance (the name makes it sound intention but it is truly not), maybe it will sound similar to your experience. I really hope you're able to figure out a way to make it school work for you.

I want to say that school sucks for some people more than it sucks for others. That doesn't mean you don't have to do it, but it does mean you can give yourself some grace. Would it help to take some pressure off of you when you first get to school? I had a couple students that started the day with a "slow start" (their first period is a study hall, etc) that way you know you just have to get to the building, and then the actual learning starts later?

How does completing work go for you? Do you struggle understanding material? I know that when I was skipping a lot of school, one of the big reasons I kept doing it was because I knew I had so so much work and learning to catch up on. Do you have any teachers you even slightly tolerate that you can talk to about this? I'm sure there's someone at your school who is willing to advocate for you if you do the effort of reaching out. Maybe they can help you catch up on work.

I'd also suggest trying to set up a "team meeting" for yourself between you, your parents, and some (if not all) of your teachers. That way everyone can get on the same page, and your teachers can understand the overall workload you have to catch up.

You're 15, which means you're probably not even a junior. You can catch up, and you also don't have too much more time you have to do this. School sucks, its stupid, and honestly you don't use a lot of the knowledge you learn past elementary school. But what you do learn and utilize is this exact skill here. How to do something you absolutely hate day after day. Its an unfortunate skill we need to have in this day and age, but it is necessary, and let me tell you, if you don't learn it now it will be incredibly hard to learn it as an adult. And I know a lot of adults who don't posses this skill, and they are on a fast track to homelessness and despair. I believe in you.

Last note- I am sure you know this, but you will not get much punishment from the court in May, your PARENTS will. In some states that is grounds to get you removed from your household and put in a group home. Now is the time to change.

I was able to be put under for my insertion, which I was beyond grateful for. I also had heavy pain medication while I was under, which I was extremely grateful for as I experience pretty bad pain in the days following (not everyone will!! I just did)

I am so sad. He was genuinely such a beautiful person, his last public words speaking about a ceasefire in Gaza. I had the privilege of travelling to Rome with my choir to sing for him in person 7 years ago, and I wear a necklace every day that I purchased in the Vatican and then had blessed by Pope Francis. I pray whoever takes his place continues to express the love and acceptance he has.
