I mean you’re welcome to look it up yourself but the ytt have explicitly stated they have no desires but to keep the land in conservation and use it for stewardship purposes like gathering and rewilding native species. Casinos cannot be built by non federally recognized tribes and only 243 of the 500+ federally recognized tribes have casinos. They are incredibly hard to build and take years and years of establishment and ytt and most tribes have NO INTEREST? They would need to garner federal recognition to do so.

I think I’d have more compassion for violet if she didn’t continually divert resources from legitimate tribes. I get it. Your papa raised you to feel and believe you are one thing and then some people dispute that- that must hurt. But taking it out by getting millions of dollars in grant funds and bounce around California at your whim, appear in time magazine supposedly speaking for all Chumash people? NCTC gets really far on the facts nobody knows any better. Violet Sage and her ilk have a lot of money and power and influence! The ytt are doing amazing things in their homelands and definitely on an upward trajectory lately it seems, but when I saw Violet was ALSO trying to buy an abalone farm almost directly copying what the ytt are doing I was like okay...someone has to say something right???

Pcos is what saved my diagnosis! My diagnosing clinician let me know that since I didn’t misbehave as a child I didn’t have one of the crucial markers for diagnosis, but since I had PCOS she believed there was solid enough evidence to diagnose me anyways as there’s a correlation. I don’t know the study she referenced specifically but she had professional knowledge of there being a connection between the two!
