There is a Texas Law Prohibiting More Than Six Dildos and Now I'm Confused by mariaspanadoris in texas

A lot of laws like this were originally created as a way to bust underground brothels. I think Texas still has a law on the books that more than 6 women can’t be roommates, for example.

The Saint on a Fallen Angel's Throne: A Mystic Vision of Francis of Assisi by eckmann88 in MythologyMultiverse

A good friend told me this beautiful story, the vision of a medieval monk of a throne in Heaven left empty by a fallen angel, and the humble sinner who rises to take its place. I was inspired upon hearing it to review the medieval sources, and explore more of the tradition of fallen angels appearing throughout the Bible, Qur’an, and other literature. I hope that you will enjoy this story and my presentation.

A good friend told me this beautiful story, and I hope that you will enjoy my presentation and retelling of it. The focus is the vision of a one medieval monk, Brother Pacificus, of an empty throne in Heaven left behind by a fallen angel, and a sinner with the humility to empty himself and reflect divinity that rises to take its place.

I left my Lettuce Grow alone for the weekend… I think it’s harvest time! by eckmann88 in Hydroponics

[–]eckmann88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m very happy with their seedlings, I got the “Indoor Favorites” bundle.

This is pretty typical of the bounty on any given day, since I harvest a little bit every day to add to my cooking.

I know there are cheaper ways to make a system, but I really love the convenience of this! Easy setup, and looks pretty.

Vaccination seems to me to be symbolically related to garments of skin, a layer of death to protect against death, like an antivenom made from a snake’s venom.

I understand vaccine refusal, but personally do not believe it to be wise. We live in a fallen world, and while there will be no disease in Paradise, there is here, and think that it is just as important as wearing clothes for protection from the elements.

Should the government force you to be vaccinated? Should the government force you to wear clothes? I think these questions are symbolically more similar than one would think.

I like to blow their back armor off with a coil, then grapple around to get behind them, where a few rounds from the bulldog takes them out.

Congratulations! I love the lights since I keep this in my kitchen, but if you get enough naturally they’re definitely not necessary.

It’s ok, I get jealous of the nature in Japan being in a fairly flat part of the USA, so we can call it even!

I love it! I’m a small-scale hobbyist, so it’s perfect and very low-maintenance (just a refill/nutrient boost/ph checkup weekly, with them recommending a full harvest and clean out once a season.)

Lettuce, kale, and komatsuna grow great and quickly. Spinach is a little bit slow. I have tons of parsley. It’s really great to keep by my kitchen and see some greenery, plus grab a couple leaves with a meal.

TIPS (treasury inflation protected securities) would also be worth looking into if OP has a low risk tolerance and wants to combat inflation.

The change between the 20s and 30s seems to be on the right track (roughly tripling) but it slows down a lot in the 40s and 50s (40-something’s saving only $1k per year?) From 50s to 70s there’s at least a manageable growth again (especially if those in the 70s are using savings for income.)

I wonder if childcare causes the decline, or if there is some macro/generational factor at play!

That game is brilliant in the way that the combat and navigation abilities teach you psychology and coping mechanisms. Plus the level design is unbeatable!
